Hi , I am a beginner. Can I ask you a question? Can you tell me how to choose the jighead weight?

@@yasinozkaran4417 I can try, the most common weight for a jighead is 1/4oz, if you are fishing current or deeper water you may want to use a 1/2oz, or if you want your lure to drop slower or if you are fishing shallow water you may want 1/8oz. At the beginning it is a bit confusing but you'll figure it out in time, good luck!

@@PMFCreek Thank you for your answer.I don't have much experience. What is the disadvantage of not increasing the jig head weight in deep water or current water?

@@yasinozkaran4417 If you're fishing deeper water, you usually want the jig head to sink faster so you can "bottom bounce" or slowly drag the lure across the bottom on your retrieve. Though you could use a lighter one so it takes more time to reach bottom, as some fish will smack a lure on the drop. In fast current (for example some sections of river in the video) a lighter jighead would just get swept away and you really wouldn't be able to fish with it. It can be difficult at the beginning figuring out the sizes and weights and their applications but you'll get the hang of it. Maybe we'll make a video on it!
