Airboats are truly unique and can blow your mind. I worked at a small airboat shop in Kansas for a little while. They are just as fun to build as they are to ride. It’s looks like Areo Wake is a new company best of luck to them!!!

That was bad/kick azz riding. I've always wanted to ride on one. I rode on a hover craft while in USN. That was a blast but biggest adventure was on a power boat in Chesapeake Bay with pilot, copilot, navigator hitting high speed over 120 mph.

In my experience, river cats feed allot on crawfish....raw SHRIMP is my go to bait for river catfishing! I've caught some decent cats in the Dan River her in southern Virginia using shrimp! Deep pockets, big boulders, or undercuts along banks (similar to trout fishing) is where I tend to target. That was a cool ride 😎

@LakeForkGuy My friends and I used to jug fish the Mississippi. Cut bait (flying carp) with jugs in the current during low water or dropping conditions. Higher water pull into pockets. Blue cats are opportunistic feeders and feed more in moving water. Also have better meat because they aren't sedative/bottom feeders such as channel or flatheads.

Make sure you are in the very deepest part of the hole. That is where the constant action will be around where the fattest pig is. That fish will never bite but the others struggling to keep second best spot will be aggrevated and semi active even when the fish are not active.

One of the key things about catfish is fresh bait cast net shad and freeze them they don't last long after they thaw but other than chicken and beef liver for small channels if you can buy it at Walmart it isn't good catfish bait

Seen Mullet Man in a friend of his airboats and they launched off of dry land too.... Those boats have to have a special type of bottom to be able to go over gravel and rocks like that over and over. Maybe its just a Texas thing...and thats ok!
