Good evening, you need a rod licence and the boat/kayak needs to be licensed through the EA. You can register to it craft at Allington lock. I didn’t actually realise this but 2 very nice EA officers explained that I needed to licence the crafts. The website is very confusing however I will go to Allington lock next season and make sure my kayak and boat is registered!
