The difference some pebbles and a bush makes, really ties the area together nicely! Also the custom rapids sign looks great! For covering up the queue entrance things maybe an A-frame sign showing the hours of operation?

Going back and watching this series from the start and it's really inspired me to start a park. One thing I always struggle with is layout and watching you build has really helped me! I'm also really enjoying catching your streams (only managed to watch them after the fact, but hoping I can make one live soon!) I'm a Brit who is recently divorced and has moved to North America (all within the last 5 years), so It's really interesting listening to you as it resonates a lot with me, plus you're giving me lots of Brit nostalgia!

Glad you're back! 😉 Have you thought about swapping out one of the textures for the asphalt that is in the city biome? Makes cleaning up green triangles a SNAP and also helps with the stupid green that pokes through the queues. You're right, the pebbles are fantastic. I use them all the time now along with the actual bark mulch by the same creator (I think). Keep on keepin' on with cleaning up. It's a monumental task but worth it in the end.

Yeah, we use the asphalt texture quiet a bit to fill in gaps. It's the one that most closely matches the path texture I think. Getting there!

Oh, one other suggestion: I have never seen anyone build a serious park in the desert biome. I think the desert biome in planco is gorgeous, and I'd love to see you tackle it.

Loved the video Jonti, won't drown on and on about how grateful I am your back since you so nicely asked, I got two suggestions since you asked. 1. Masked already said it but the sky ride sign ain't cuttin it lol, the rest of the building is spot on and then that kinda distracts you from the rest, I actually think using one of the tmtk lettering packs out there would be a good idea because of the weird space you have to make it work. 2. love the idea you have for the rapids but the rocks you're using feel WAY too red, it's almost like wild west red. Deif has a great rock set on the workshop that is recolorable and pairs really well with the pieces from the adventure pack, feel like that would sell the vibe you're going for much better. Can't wait to see what you do next!

When you talk about having a history for places, Pinewood has really been an inspiration for me when I build in the Console Edition. I made a park that was basically "What if Alton Towers but in the US" and I like to tie all the parks I build together (since some of the ideas get duplicated) so I decided that Alton Towers-y Pinewood-y park would be the first park for the "Company" that owns my parks and started them on the path of theme parks. Each land has a backstory and info on when it was added to the park, and I owe that to you and Pinewood.

The park is turning out great. Man - those pebbles though! They really make a HUGE difference. I think when Planet Coaster 2 comes out I might stream it, so I've been finding myself paying extra attention when im at like Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm

For covering you could go with a wooden barrel and add some flowers to the top to cover the top of the pylon. For mine I used three sets of the same flower moved and slightly rotated.

I didn't even know that pebble piece existed, absolutely brilliant to use those under the rides. I'm pretty sure I've seen exactly that kind of pebble work under most rides at the local park in my area. It's a little bittersweet, having Pinewood so close to finished! But I'm really excited for the final tour of everything. Your attention to detail is as inspiring as always. Were you looking for potential ideas for your next project, after Pinewood? I assume so, seems silly to try to give you more ideas for a park you're wrapping up. Personally, after so many years watching you perfect the Art of the Jank, I'd love to see you step out of that comfort zone juuust a bit. I dunno if I'd suggest a full blown Disney style park of perfection or anything. But something a bit less budget might be cool. Could be a fun change of pace for you! Either that or, when PlanCo 2 comes out later this year, I'd suggest taking some inspiration from the water parks in Arizona - Sun Splash (known for its many many water slides), Big Surf (had the biggest wavepool in the country) and Water World (had some other odd niche I don't remember) all closed down recently due to Covid but had some really cool attractions in them that I'd love to see your take on, once waterparks are an option!

22:22 could you move the start of the queue to the inside of the building so the pillars cant be seen from outside? And replace the queue path outside with just normal path which threads through the temporary fencing out front

I actually came back to PC about 4 weesk ago after a long break, and started working on a new park. Of course, I was putting more effort into this one (and streaming it, but Im not saying where, because that would be rude) and trying to make sure all the Rides had 100% scenery rating and so on. Then... well... we know what happened a week ago.. and now I have this Park thats developing, and I now have this internal "Race" to get this park finished before PC2 comes out and I get to Start a New Park from scratch. This time with added realism... I love the Over sized signs. I feel like thats exactly the style I see in parks these days anyway. Massive signs tempting you into the ride queue where you get to enjoy the same music for 90 minutes, and marvel at random inanimate themed objects dotted about. I cant bring myself to do Part Count. I used to pride myself on doing cool scenery with Low part counts for those with less that Epic PCs. I work off loading time now... Im upto 1:50s. I can see that easily creeping upto 3:00 or more by the time Im done (assuming Im done before PC2 arrives). Love the work though, Haven't been to Alton Towers in (counts on fingers and toes) 30 years... *visible panic*. But Im spotting a lot of Callbacks to it. :)
