River's Message Remembered : Tribute to an Earth Angel

Every once in a while I feel compelled to make a video in tribute to the memory of River Phoenix. Every so often I remember this amazing human being and feel inspired to create these reminders.. yet there is always a tinge of melancholy in knowing that the unique person that he was.. is no longer walking the earth.
River always had an important message to share... and I feel that it will be heard and live on through ppl that really understand what was important to him and what should be important to us all. His contribution as a humanitarian equals his contribution as a major talent. I enjoy creating videos that create a sentiment that is near to the heart of the truth of who he was and what he stood for. Thanks for Watching!

Two nights ago I had a dream about River. I was with my friends somewhere in downtown Hollywood, and we got lost. While my friends asked for directions, I saw him leaning against the wall watching everyone walk by. I didn't realize it was him at first, but I was really drawn to the jacket he was wearing.... it was one of those authentic nineties denim jackets with a few pins on them, so I walked up and told him I really liked it. He was very laid back, and he said thank you. He was really kind to me, because I was obsessed with it! As we talked I recognized his face, but I was calmer staring into his eyes. It's like.... he knew... that I knew who he was... and was okay with it. A few minutes went by as we talked, and my friend yelled behind me, "who are you talking to?" And I said "I'm talking to River!" And when I turned around he was gone. Earlier that day I learned about him, and I was so sad that I wrote a letter asking why he left, and that I wish I could've known sooner. A part of me wonders if it was just wishful thinking, or that river actually visited me.... spirits, no matter if they were famous or not are free to come and go as they please, and at times walk among normal people like you and I. It's possible. I wrote a letter to him and I wonder if this was his response.....

It "SUCKS" sooooo bad this young mad had his life stolen from him at such a young age. And even the way he had to leave this earth. I was absolutely devestated when I heard the news of his passing. River Phonix was here long enough to leave an everlasting impact on almost all of us. His acting, as well as his musical ability was endless. It's hard to believe it has been over 30 years since his death. I still see movies and clips of him and feel like he's still that vibrant young man that entertained us for several years is still with us, but reality sets in and I realize he's gone. A bright shining star that burned out way, way too soon. "WHY?" Rest in Heavenly Peace always River!!!
