Yet another excellent video. Really informative, particularly about the clearance under Killaloe Bridge and the tide situation for Limerick. Keep the videos coming, they are great 👍

Great video. Looking forwards to the 2nd part. Read the history of the hydroelectric scheme. Appreciate having a guided tour of the area on a boat.

Hi Harry, Marian any idea what depth of water is in the Head race ?? I walked it one time from O'Brien's Bridge to Parteen weir so nice to see it from the water ! Looking forward to part 2, great vids as always, keep them coming !!
@DriftwoodBoatBlog3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ger, ye the head race seems to be a fairly constant 28 feet deep which is surprisingly deep.

Really pleased you have done this. When did you film? (The jetties at Killaloe didn't seem busy). Also looking forward to what you say about Limerick Marina, as there has been so much criticism when it was first built. Is it as used as it might be?

Thanks Brendan, we recorded this video only last week. You'll enjoy the 2nd part 😜
