I hadn't watched this one yet. Thanks for sharing this with us. I love the Doctor/River relationship, it's so flirtatious yet full of pathos and the unknown, and we are actually seeing them bit by bit. Matt and Alex are fantastic together. I look forward to seeing River more each time even though I know that I will probably be sad when we learn the truth about her. I loved Alex on ER but I think this has turned into some of her absolute best work. Wish she was around more!

In "Let's Kill Hitler", she strikes that famous pose from the film with her foot propped up so that Matt is framed by the inside of her leg and she says to him, "Hello, Benjamin".......suddenly that Mrs. Robinson remark (and her reaction) made perfect sense to me....... see the film if you can, Anna464. @Anna464 Ahhh, it's alright. I'll explain! In 1967 a movie was released called "The Graduate". It was about the misadventures of a recent and rather virginal college graduate who has an affair with an older (and far more experienced) married women. The soundtrack was supplied by Simon & Garfunkel, and famously features the song "Mrs. Robinson". You can hear the beginning of the track during the confidential. And if you're interested, you can watch a fanvid I made with the song on my channel.

Yes, her too. I think real deep on this one. The message she left me was that the most common and unlikely individual has the potential within oneself to match a heart, soul that is as expansive and deep the universe. Everybody gets to see the galaxies, stars and planets but nobody comes close to capturing and matching the Doctor's heart, a godlike heart. He's not just anyone, he struggles and suffers because he's in love with all the lives floating in the universe.
