Question of the Day: Which player board are you choosing? Which is your go to woodland critter? 1:00 for the reminder!

Great overview! I will ask the obvious question of how do you see this game playing differently than Azul?
@The.FrozenGamer9 ай бұрын
It looks like no special player powers for the different characters, right? The game looks like they put a nice, cute theme onto an abstract. Seems fun.
@kovray9 ай бұрын
Well having played it many times now, I do see some similarities, but the scoring and way you acquire tiles is significantly different. Both will certainly be staying in our collection. @@kbastean92

If you mentioned this, sorry, but when you take lake pieces, they go to your hand, but where do they go from there? Can I put hand pieces on the scoring board at any time?
@kovrayАй бұрын
@@theindyjt you use the pieces to place on the river to take the pieces for your board :) the pieces from the lake will not go onto your scoring board from your hand.
@theindyjtАй бұрын
@@kovray thank you for the quick reply. I’m so confused lol so the pieces go from lake -> hand -> ?
@kovrayАй бұрын
@@theindyjt You’ll use pieces from your hand to place on the river, you’ll take the pieces adjacent to the one(s) you placed and these will go on your board for scoring. When you run out of pieces from your hand or before then you can take pieces from the lake. These go in your hand to be used to be placed in the river to take more tiles in future turns. Let me know if that helps.

Are you able to remove glass from your overflow area back to your hand or the river?
@kovray8 ай бұрын
You are not! Once it’s there, it’s permanent

I thought this scoring sounded familiar. Same designer of Subastral. I actually can’t get people to play that game because of the weird scoring. Hopefully this will get them to the table as I think it’s a very creative scoring system.
