Is just me or is this 'new' storyline giving me The Vampire Diaries kinda vibes. Like how Cheryl's and the others' ancestors are now involved and there's a curse; which is quite similar to Bonnie and her ancestors. Also like how the others' ancestors were killed in the mine; similar to how the vampires were under the Fell's church tomb. to be honest I never really liked the last few seasons of riverdale the first few episodes of season 5 were great I seriously thought riverdale was finally re-building itself but it really went downhill, but also what I do like is that we get to see ships like cheryl and minerva, jughead and tabitha, betty and Archie, etc now don’t get me wrong I’m a MAJOR bughead fan especially in like s1 but it’s also really nice too see ships like betty and archie because riverdale never explored ships a lot of the fans really like.

Season 5 is finally over. The most boring season. The season where they destroyed all the long term relationships AND friendships. We don’t even get anyone interacting anymore as just friends. They’ve randomly put Toni and Fangs together even tho he was hooking up with Moose a few episodes ago yet he loves Toni. Veronica and Archie broke up after one episode and he’s crawling to Betty. The LGBT relationships have been pushed to the side YET AGAIN. Kevin in the corner with nobody AGAIN. We had no Choni. Very disappointing. The writing is all over the place. Jabitha only just got together and they haven’t even had a date yet they’re considering moving in together lmao. Don’t get me started on the messy witch storyline with Cheryl.
