I think that's one of the most beautiful yet strange parts about Jojo, Araki invented the perfect baseline that anyone could use. It's not about on person, a group or even a Family (Hell, it's not even about one Universe) it's about a person with the nickname "Jojo" that goes on a Bizarre Adventure with a crap ton of musical references, as long as you have that, you have a (debatably) Canon Jojo story. Also, now might be an odd time to bring this up but I'm working on a few Jojo fics that are their own stories: -Blood and Honor (Basically a story about a dude named "Johnson" joining a Military squad and he learns that all of them are Stand Users.) -RadLands (A Post Apocalyptic Future where a fellow known only as "Joker" must uncover the truth of the strange powers he had just unlocked.)

I found the first version around last week or two, and I am so happy to see this second version so soon! Also, I never understood why dragon's dream is hard to understand, I think the translated manga explained it pretty well at least. Tbh it's one of my most fav powers in terms of uniqueness and OPness at the same time. Below is my attempt in explaining but *I put a tldr at the bottom* . Basically the base power is based on Feng Shui, a type of fortune telling about luck related to location and direction. An example is like about the direction your house or store better face (ex: South West facing the ocean or something) and where the rooms should be located etc so that it'll give you success in life business etc. Dragon's Dream takes it steps beyond, the user is able to know their exact "Feng Shui" at any time and thus knows the exact coordinates he can be in to be extremely successful and without harm (provided he is at those coordinates). If how Feng Shui works confuses you or something, tldr dragon dream basic power lets user know "lucky areas" and "unlucky areas", and what those areas mean is as the name suggests, if user is in the lucky area they literally have plot armor bullshit protecting them and vice versa (the power of absolute luck). Please note that just like Feng Shui, the lucky and unlucky areas of everyone is different, like how different people have different lucky colors or something. But as some stands are, they have a secondary "ability" to it. In dragon's dream case it is the dragon. The dragon is an independent talking stand with consciousness. It values balance and since the user's ability (plot armor luck) is too OP, it gives advice to their opponents just because. Another thing about the dragon is that it is "untouchable". Like, a higher being that resides in an inviolable space (dragons ARE mythical creatures, even divine & godly for eastern cultures). So any attacks done to the dragon will be reflected back, no matter what type of attack it is. The user being lucky can sometimes use the dragon's inviolable trait to their advantage wherein they attack the dragon and the attack bounces off to some other direction that just "coincidentally" is deadly to their opponents (you know what they say, "luck is skill"). In words is a lot but imagining it as an image is easy imo. Trying to explain King Crimson Gold Experience Requiem or any stand involving concepts is around same length or longer... Killer queen has effin three abilities and tbh I think explaining Sticky Fingers to its exact capabilities is also tough. TLDR: - Basic ability = see super accurately & in real time your lucky & unlucky area. Stay in your lucky area gives super luck bullshit "plot armor" and vice versa. (If you've watched Deadpool, the girl whose power is "I'm lucky") - Secondary ability = independent dragon stand. Dragon is untouchable (wrapped in a defensive bubble). Any attack done to dragon will be bounced back by the bubble in whatever way. Can combine with basic ability. Dragon can also talk :).

I think it's weakness, that being the user must move to the very exact location of the "lucky areas" is pretty neat too. Cause considering how specific Feng Shui can be, I'd imagine the user must move down to the specific meters and angle to be considered in the "lucky area". That's why the old man (I forgot the name of the user) was moving super weirdly when he was first introduced imo.

I loved the last section. It really got me to reflect on my years of being a jjba fan. It was October 2019, I was scrolling through Netflix and saw that they had parts 1 and 2. I figured I might as well just give it a shot since my class mates and everyone on the internet wouldn’t stop referencing or meming about it. I’m glad I did because I ended up enjoying it and my enjoyment only increased with each part (anime wise). Plus it helped me get through a bad time in my life. I was in high school when me and my family lost our homes. We ended up having to live in motels for a a long while and when Covid hit things only got worse. But at least watching parts 3, 4, and 5 helped cheer me up
