Riverfront Camping & Breakfast Cook Up | Warburton | Yarra River, Victoria

A weekend away only just over an hour away from Melbourne, the beautiful town of Warburton is one not to be missed. Camped up for 2 nights on the banks of the Yarra River with a late arrival as usual, we set up, settle in and start the weekend with a very yummy breakfast and riverside walk into town. That's just the start of it!

@@JourneyUnknown Pizza are good there. I like Cafe 57 too for a lunch. If you parked alongside the car park, it is no standing. Alongside houses, it's 2 hour restricted but nobody checks. Now, if you parked in the car park, then all good.

Beautiful spot. I would think Red Bellied Black and Tiger Snakes would be the predominate species in the area. Unfortunately we had to give up caravanning due health issues but one of my favourite pastimes was looking for snake. But then again, I presented Venomous snake awareness and handling programs all over Australia in another lifetime. I haven’t watched all your videos to know, but I would suggest having a comprehensive first aid kit in your car and carry two broad bandages when out walking. Enjoy.

Excellent. I subscribe to a few of these KZbin channels and I am yet to see any comment on first aid. Can I also suggest you collect a few books on Australian wildlife. It will enable you to not only say ‘there is a kangaroo over there’ but you will also e able to provide a brief description of the animal. Nothing complex. Just a suggestion.
