How Much Is My Fiberglass Pool Really Going to Cost in 2024?

I would say your estimates are fairly accurate. I have been dealing with my installer since October and will be breaking ground in a few weeks. We are doing a 35x15.5 saltwater pool with a heat pump, saltwater system, 600sqft of extra decking @ 14.5 bucks per sqft. Also doing a 8x2x2 waterfall. All of this came out to right at 97K. What people don't think of (at least I didn't) is the costs outside of the actual pool. Permit & HOA fees, landscaping fees, sprinkler rerouting fees and fence fees if required. I would say all of that additional cost added up to about 10K.

@@rstscott very good points! Those will definitely increase! I will say I have been pleased with the maintenance costs after getting all the initial chemicals in and balanced. It wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting so at least I have that going for me, 😂😂😂

Pretty spot on. Breaking ground in 2 weeks. We chose a turn key project with pool, decking, electrical, plumbing, cover, heater etc, and with our allowances we are at $155K (this includes and auto cover which is $15k). We are in Wisconsin. Does not include the landscaping to repair and fix yard. This is another estimated $8500 which I will pay after the pool install.

We got 2 quotes for a liner 14x28 inground with no extras. 50k we are now looking at above ground pools even bigger for 8k installed. No brainer to me

Hmmm 5 minutes 47 seconds? That was the meat and potatoes. He basically said everyone have different preferences as to the meat they buy as well as the potatoes. But this is what he generally hears as the most popular choices for dinner. It’s impossible for him to make an exact prediction because there are way too many variables to consider. He looks like he was just trying to give a general expectation that could alleviate some sticker shock when going into such a project. It worked for me! Unless I buy a house with a pool? This isn’t happening for me installing new!😅
