I'm not sure if you still read these messages, but i found a postcard/letter you sent to my dad in March 1991 with a photo of you two on the Sunflower. My dad was Angelo (Evangelos) Vayianos, a photo technician among other things, in Limassol, Cyprus. He used to talk about you over the years and would often wonder where you were in the world and if you were still sailing.

It's on my bucket lists. I am still looking for the first video I saw on PBS Channel under the Aranui 1 Globe Trekker with Ian Wright (young British fellow then). He was afraid of being "raped" by Tahitian women !. lol.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Although I consider myself not to be very "tropic resistant" (temperaturewise) I plan to go after having retired in 2025. Greetz from Germany :-)
