Funny how people hate this song, cuz the original had that “Lumineers” style pop sound. But when Rivers plays it, it could honestly have been a song on Pinkerton. Like if you listen to the lyrics + the way Rivers sings it, I could 100% imagine this on Pinkerton. Obviously it would have a different arrangement, but still. Rivers is such an incredible talent. I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately while in 2020 quarantine, but his melancholy voice is so unique and perfect for so many songs.

i like AJR quite a bit... but Rivers makes this song his... and it hits differently. that is just my opinion.

idk people hate on ajr, they are an amazing band. really underrated if u listen closely enough, i like this, but ajr is way better

This is so much better than the original, much more emotion. This is coming from a long time AJR fan, my favorite band is AJR and my favorite album is The Click. This one is just better.
