All of the so called “not metal” elements like clean vocals and the saxophone just adds to the greatness of this tune.

Kind of like the Left cant Meme, some people just can't metal and they compensate by trying to hard. Goes for some bands too. Some dudes just play in a band, where as other people are artists in the highest sense. And this song here is certainly a work of art

I can't believe how so many people get butt hurt over clean vocals. They were done well. They sound good here. Get over it. Sax works too. Open your minds just a touch.

We've seen mostly positive comments on this record and it's our best selling pre-order of 2018 thus far. That speaks volumes, right there.
@sightlesswisdom2559

but at least people know the horrible cleans have generated enough negative comments for the label to respond and that speaks even more volumes. And the reaponse is quite typical "sales, money, numbers".

360MandaloreX I am not. Just stating my opinion and facts where need be. Everyone else is whining because a few people voiced their opinion and then you got your feelings hurt. I am just fine, why would my feelings be hurt because a band chooses to use crappy clean vocals on one song?

Elitism in metal is a plague, but its a sickness that will always exist. Doesnt hurt my feelings though, I honestly pity people that are close minded in that sense, it must suck only having a small amount of music you can listen to.

It's the fucking worst. I've always said that I LOVE metal but hate metal fans...for the very reasons you stated above. If a band or song isn't "BROOTAL" enough for their myopic tastes, they flip their shit and shriek "sellout" from a dark corner of their mother's basement.

As an older metalhead with 30+ years of consuming metal music I have learned to let the music take me on the journey when possible. If I am limited to my preconceptions and the music itself cannot take me past that threshold, then I admit there is a failure in the music to push me past my criticism and preconceptions. This album took me on a journey past what I expected or imagined and that is why I keep coming back to metal for all these years. Salute to RON for this album.

9. Where Owls Know My Name (feat. Andy Thomas) Music: Uttley Lyrics: Biggs And then I wished you away I lost those memories Of the days we weren't Forsaken, why don't we Just relax our eyes and fall into a dream let it take my mind Where owls know my name And it gets colder every day Lost in eternity's grasp With drawing further from what we have known This mentality that we've built; It's breaking down Still running away from it, you're still dreaming Still hoping that there's something that may be worth seeking You've wasted all that you have been given Still hoping to find a way to make life worth living Lost in eternity's grasp We'll find no way to weather the storm This mentality that we've built; It's breaking down All the same; Every path you take You remain Trapped within your shame Go away, far away Separate, from the shame I've brought myself to this place Where only owls would know me This reality that I've built Is an empty space

But the conscious seed of light was even better.... But this album Takes the Cake where the owls know my name that's such a killer freaking title to an album to.... this right here is better than any of the albums they put out.
