As a niner fan, I've always had a soft spot for rivers. He toiled on that chargers team for years knowing full well he didnt hsve enough talent or infrastructure around him to win the sb, didn't ever complain and still always had that fire for the game. He's the definition of a gamer. I remember he won me many a fantasy game back in the early 2010s

Believe it was the WFT game last year of a PASS FROM JHERB 'The 1 neXt to no One' that was the most extreme physics of how it traveled against the wind to Mike Williams for 1rst down. The pass was a line drive type as the ball had perfect spiral and it seem we were looking at another dimension for the ball was against the wind and the slow motion replay of it was very rare as 1 of the most extreme passes I ever saw and likely 1 of a kind . Im sure the team has the play and they should use it often to demonstrate the raw physics and skill set of a QB as the pass, is the 1 next to no One#10

Charger, has maintained his home in San Diego since being drafted, his charity Brees Dream Foundation is based in and focused on San Diego, and he always supports the Chargers even when he was a Saint but especially now that he’s retired. So just because he won a Super Bowl with the Saints does not make Drew Brees “not a Charger”. His heart is in San Diego and with the Chargers even though the Chargers are in LA now.
