It's a tradition for old Chinese people of wealth to bury their loved ones in beautiful locations to help the soul move on to an equally beautiful place in the afterlife. The girl was burried under the roots of a maple tree, in China, maple is associated with honor. On the other side, Jackson was burried in an unmarked grave, maybe he was low born, maybe he was killed in battle and they had to burry him like that, his quest was to find her grave and be burried with her since he loved her so much and they couldn't be burried together before. Thats my interpetation at least, i find this mv of his to be one of the most amazing and interesting ones he has ever done. Thank you for reacting to it.

Jackson is one of very few artists who wants to create his own thing and do what he likes, instead of following trends that will make him popular in an instant - love love love that. His is so creative; I would love to go inside his head and find out how his brain works (even got7 members say Jackson has such a unique way of thinking and always thinks out of the box). Jackson has so many sides to him that he is finally showing to us and we're living for it. In got7, he doesn't really get the chance to show everything he can do, so I am grateful for his solo career. Thanks for the reaction :) P.S. They journey through the forest, and the combined power of their spiritual energies literally cuts down trees as they pass through the forest... Finally, they arrive at their final destination...the grave of Jackson's true love...and they begin the final ritual... ...this ritual is long and strenuous, as all five of them pour their energies into it...but, this ritual requires sacrifice...and the four loyalists give their lives to complete the ritual... ...and then, finally, with the ritual complete, Jackson's betrothed, the love of his life, is risen from the grave, and they are reunited... ...and for a short time they are joined together in blissful embrace... ...but then, the power of the ritual slowly fades...and as the enchantment fades away, both Jackson and his betrothed descend back into the afterlife, together........

Jackson “100WAYS” - After such a long wait he took to social media to talk about his upcoming new song while sharing mini teasers and finally made his comeback with this new english single “100 Ways” which is the follow up of his 1st album “MIRRORS” that was released back in October 2019. this MV talks about a soldier (Jackson) who falls in love with a princess (the woman who appears). their love is forbidden because they are from different social classes. One day, the princess and the soldier are separated and live their lives but they never forgot each other. They both end up dying at some point in their lives. when he resurrects the only motivation that moves him is to find his great love. When he finds her again, he performs a kind of summoning ritual that invokes her soul back into the human world. after they meet they undo the spell and the end embraced is they returning to the spiritual world together to live their great love that they could not enjoy in human life. this is the moral of the story: love always wins! Not only Jackson Got7 is whole package. Their rap line can sing like nobody else and their vocal line can rap too. JB is considered as one of the most unique voice in KPOP. The 100 Ways explanation that I read in a comment on the video somewhere: Jackson is a great Chinese General who fell in love with a Princess in a forbidden romance, as she was meant to marry someone noble and not some military man. He died in war and she killed herself out of grief to be with him, and though it was her last wish, her family refused to bury them together, giving her a proper funeral and grave befitting a Princess and the General was buried far away in an unmarked location. His soldiers though were extremely loyal and found him, doing a ritual to bring him back, some even sacrificing their lives to do so. They made their way to her grave where he and his men resurrected the Princess, his men once again giving their lives to do so, as he was a great and honorable General and they all served him with pride. However upon her rebirth, the General and his Princess decided they could never be happy in this world that was set against them and instead they both chose to go onto the afterlife once again, but this time being buried and dying with each other, so that they would be together for eternity. That’s the gist of it anyway.

It took me until about a month ago to listen to you on Spotify. Your music reminds me of when I was in my late teens and early twenties back in the 90s. You aren't copying the a style or group either. You are influenced by various styles and are filtering through your own creativity. You don't sound like any one group but I can hear influences from groups like En Vogue or Shai maybe some 4 PM. It is very pleasant to listen to. Ok I'm sorry for commenting before I even finished watching I'm only 4 minutes in and maybe I'll edit again who knows lol but Jackson is killin it. I was listening and for some reason out of all of the songs I've heard I just realized today... His voice kind of gives me Post Malone and John Mayer vibes mixed together (is that weird I don't listen to either of those artists rly but I get that feelin). But specifically what I mean is like, he's got this unique voice that is similar in that it's got a sultry, rasp that just entrances you.... LOLOLLL... idk why I thought that but anyhow. His vocals are sitting so well on this track and I always feel like his videos are taking me somewhere haha. I can't say for sure what pretty please is about. But I think it's interesting to note that there is the theme of the wolf from beginning to end in the video--- mainly how the wolf is loyal. The actress in the video is the same as in 100 ways. So it makes me wonder if pretty please is the modern version of them two in a different lifetime, as he being loyal never stopped loving and pursuing her. Just my theory.
