The songs from Coke Studio I love the most are in Punjabi and that applies for both coke studio Pakistan and India. Maybe because I am an Indian Punjabi, others I enjoy but Punjabi songs are the closest to my heart for they are sung in my mother tongue which will probably die out in a few more generations Love to my brothers sisters and Aunts and Uncles on both sides of the border.

India and Pakistan were a subcontinent before 1947, after the independence the two countries came into formation due to Cultural, Language, and Religious "Differences" and remember that "DIFFERENCES" Ofcourse some of the things remained the same as in the Eras of Kings, all the common people had to follow similar rules and disciplines which went on for generations. Also there is this song called "mehram" ( a spouse, a confidant, intimate friend, anyone who is admitted into the women's apartments or into a sacred place.) From Coke studio season 14, the female vocalist is the first Pakistani to win a Grammy award last year. That song is breathtakingly beautiful

The other seasons were like studio sessions. They really turned it into music video type videos in addition to live music in season 14. You should turn on the closed captions too. I suggest Tu jhoom, Muaziz Saarif, Ye Dunya, Go, Thagyan, and Phir milenge from season 14
