He was named as the "Father of BTOB" because he composed most of their songs, but other members also compose songs especially the rap line. yay BTOB, my ults! I would say they’re 3rd generation idols though because they debuted in 2012 with the song “Insane”. The group is known for their amazing vocals and beautiful balleds. The rappers can sing and the singers can rap. Right now 3 of the members are in the army though (Eunkwang, Changsub and Minhyuk) so it’ll be a while before we see them all together again. Oh and BTOB is pronounced as B-two-B and it stands for Born To Beat. The fandom name is Melody. now the members: 1:19 and 2:59 - Peniel; lead rapper and vocalist. He was born in Chicago and also grew up there, he will be the only member that doesn’t have to go to the army. He suffers from hair loss due to stress, that’s why he wore a lot of hats back in the day and he went completely bald for a while but it’s slowly growing back these days and I couldn’t be more happy for him! 1:45 and 3:36 - Changsub; lead vocalist He’s one of the members currently in the army. BTOB is known for being one of the (if not THE) funniest groups and Changsub honestly takes the crown he’s the biggest crackhead you’ll ever meet but damn his voice is golden. 1:58, 2:47 and 4:41 - Eunkwang; leader and main vocalist He’s also in the army right now. To describe Eunkwang in one word is “crazy” just absolutely crazy and he has no shame hahah. He’s honestly one of the best vocalists in kpop, his vocal range is insane. 2:09, 3:50 and 4:14 - Sungjae; lead vocalist, face of the group and maknae Sungjae is the temporary leader while Eunkwang is in the army and I honestly don’t know how BTOB’ll survive hahah. I feel like I’ll say this with everyone but Sungjae is too crazy for his own good but he’s also insanely talented. Aside from singing he also acts a lot (he played in Goblin and School 2015: Who are you? for example, two very popular dramas) 2:22 and 4:28 - Ilhoon; main rapper, vocalist Ilhoon is a really talented composer that has made numerous songs for BTOB but also other artists. He also has his own radio program Idol Radio in which he always has idols as guests. I might be biased since he is my ult but he is one of the best idol rappers, GOT7’s Jackson agrees. His sister JOO is a solo artist. 2:33, 3:12 and 4:01 - Hyunsik; main dancer and lead vocalist This is Dezz’s favorite (good choice :)) He, just like Ilhoon, writes a lot of BTOB songs and they’re all absolutely beautiful. He has one of the lowest voices in the group but he can really hit them high notes. He is often seen as one of the more sane members but don’t be fooled. Fun fact: he is the son of a famous korean musician 3:24 and 4:34 - Minhyuk; lead dancer, lead rapper, vocalist and visual He’s the eldest and he’s also currently in the army. Minhyuk has it all, he’s an all-around type of idol and there’s nothing he can’t do. He’s also known to be one of the most athletic idols there are, I keep on getting surprised by all his abilities. Minhyuk is a rapper not because he can’t sing but because that’s what he prefers, he actually is an amazing vocalist and gets to sing in quite a few songs.
