A drop-dead gorgeous engine, the brass trim and varnished cab really makes the vintage look.

15" would be my preferred gauge to build my RR "empire" if I won the Lotto. Great vid!

I was here in the fall of 2021. Engine #98 (the blue engine) was in the shop, but engine #82 (American type) was in service, so was engine #128 (Atlantic type), they also have a Grasshopper locomotive, and it’s name is Tom Thumb, and last but not least, another Atlantic type, it’s nuke is 128, it was out in service when the railroad started to operate, it is now being rebuilt, I do not know when it will be completed, but I hope it is in the foreseeable future!

I usually roll my eyes at American-Type (4-4-0) steam locomotives, but man, that one is cool-looking, isn't it?

You guys should go back there. They need some help paying for things and maybe a video from you guys could help them out a bit.

So many maneuvers and so much trackage to maintain just to turn around. Why locate the turntable out in the back 40 like that?
@TheSteamChannel6 жыл бұрын
The railroad has two turn tables- one at each end. The mainline runs along an old class 1 right of way.

It looks like it's coal burning but really is it? And if so how do you stoke the firebox?

The engineer looks like he's in a pretty unsafe situation. Wouldn't want to be sitting there when the locomotive derails, you'll lose a leg!
