Looks like they updated the connecting legs since I bought mine. I can testify after 4 years of use they protect the rods well and save a ton of time.

Vacationing state to state to your favorite spots for that large species you have not caught yet, I like it and it is great when you have your best friend with you a spot for his Fly Rod and when you reach the next location just pull the rod out and begin your casts no time wasted with putting rod together working with reel and tying the fly.

Should probably have a snake skin rod sheath over your rods. Super fine road dust will get in and rub/scour your rods. right at the top of the rod guides resin bumps for lack of a better description.

I see everybody mounting these on the driver's side. I mounted mine on the passenger side so I don't back into road traffic while I'm extracting a ride from the quiver. Just a safety feature that I wanted to share.
