Rivian just announced a mid $40K smaller variant. I am just itching to put down $100 for a reservation. For some reason, Rivian feels like iPhone when it was first introduced. Revolutionary thinking in way the SUV/pickup is built.

I’m debating the R1S and the Lucid Gravity

R1S all day long! Rivian is on road off-road. The Gravity is a nice family hauler closer to a minivan than an SUV.

we finally took our Zeekr in to service , it was more for me to ask a few questions which they resolved , seems a few items need to be done every time you run car, IE Lane control disable not leave enabled is a default it was why steering was weird. and Lane and speed control setting up on steering wheel controls and last key card is what you use every time instead of Key Fob, battery was only lasting a month , credit card will unlock doors but to run the ev you leave in Charging port for iphone, anyway happy n pleased the issues resolved, why - a Language barrier , now have zeeker techs phone and line app number , do not need to use my wife now, useless as a Techy ,,,,,

It is a decent deal, not a great deal. Make sure you check for the flashlight, speaker, spare tire, and mobile charger. These were all missing when I got my R1T. The mobile charger should be a dual vintage unit. These were the mistakes I made when I got my R1T.
