I was in Riad in the late 70' and now I look frequently this video, that' is really fantastic how Saudis has been able to create a modern environmental and remain the same people without change their roots. I admire their sense of family and their visible serenity!! Congratulation🙏🙏🙏

For everyone commenting stating it's a failed copy of Times square NY needs to understand that the Boulevard is a tourist location that pops up every year during the winter months. It's not permanent and every year it's a different layout and theme. It resembles a bit of times Square but that's it, resembles - doesn't try to be Times square or anything like that.

@@GoodBoyFx totally agree with you it does look fab. This video and place got a lot of hate from right wing Saudi and Muslim bashers....I would love to go and wander around, see the activities provided its not during peak summers and that's why this place comes alive during the night time. Saudi is too warm during most of the year (I stayed for a while) so it's nice they atleast have something for people to do.

@@sidmoe81 o really? Whats their objection to this fabulous tourism spot n effort to create such a nice recreational area for families to visit on wknds? It will benefit n release some stress developed over wk. Objection may b Excess spending? Islamically i see no major violations perhaps fear is it may lead to mixing of genders for nomarried ppl..well bad apples will do bad things regardless if not here then there...but can we overlook the good it can bring into lives of citizens n tourists..money flowing helps economy..meetups at such places may strengthen inter-family ties. I m all for this turning permanent not seasonal..weekend family meetups n kids r happy..wives who r frustrated being indoors all time..some fresh air..A blessing.

@@GoodBoyFx mostly they just hate anything Saudi or Saudi's do. Fine bright lights look a bit like Times square but do they crib like this when they see Piccadilly Circus in London. You will se mostly negative comments on this KZbinrs videos as they just hate anything to do with Saudi in general. I got into a discussion with someone a few months back and he just threw the human and women rights blah blah into the discussion as he was losing the discussion. Typical haters.

@momonotever8847 Жыл бұрын
@@abdulsd2268 The women that you see in this video that are not wearing potato sacks are the visitors from other countries. The saudis want the tourism. Their own people are forced to wear the sack. Search "The fire at Makkah's Intermediate School" This is where the moral police forced children back into the burning school building because they tried to escape the fire and did not have their hijab on. As you know makkah is in saudi arabia. Shameful cult causing children to die because of satanic cult protocol.
