You can claim a fighter like Crawford with high expectations "got exposed" because they didn't look flawless but maybe their opponent is better than we thought. For all we know Madrimov could beat Canelo. Might seem like a bold statement but who knows when it comes to these unknown undefeated boxers with huge amateur records. I saw a lot of swing rounds. Crawford threw more but still landed less power punches than Madrimov. So it feels like Crawford has more activity. The last two rounds won him the fight. Other than that, Madrimov could easily win this as well.

Madrimov fought a hell of fight . I had the fight 9-3 maybe 10-3 Bud ,, at first I had it 8-4 until I rewatched it . Madrimov did a wonderful job feinting n had great moments, but that does not win rounds let along the fight. Madrimov did not take any risk which is really his fighting style so I was surprised he stayed discipline but he maybe if he didn’t he would’ve got KO just cus of how good of a counter puncher Bud is lol overall good fight but I don’t wanna see a rematch

25:06-25:10 this sequence of events was quite indicative of how the commentators were calling this fight when it happened. We see Crawford lands a quick jab, Madrimov returns fire with a quick right which Crawford ends up parrying btw, and then Crawford throws another strong jab which also lands. What do you hear the commentators say? He says, "There's a counter right from Madrimov." He basically highlights Madrimov's shot which didnt even actually land while not acknowledging Crawford's actual landed shots. This is how most of the fight would proceed with these commentators. Crawford would land good shots that did damage but weren't acknowledged by the commentators while Madrimov would land shots that hit gloves but still had enough brute force behind them to make Crawford move which would get highlighted by the commentators as if they were heavily landed clean shots. By the end of the fight, you can see who was in more of a fight than the other. During the championship rounds, you can see who was doing most of the clinching and looking to tie up for a break from the action. The claims of robbery are laughable at best but Madrimov is definitely a tough fighter 😁 Crawford however was tougher. The right man won this fight 💯
