I think Miller DOMINATED this fight.. The commentators were giving Ruiz wayyy too much credit the whole fight. After the 4th round Miller beat the crap out of him every round. It's those massive body shots Miller landed over and over and over to both sides of the torso. That was 9 rounds to 3 for Miller.

Miller controlled the entire fight (and when you look at it in totality, even those early two or three rounds because he stayed consistent in pushing Ruiz back and controlling when they would fight), he landed more punches and never got hurt nor did he ever shoe any respect to Ruiz punching power and was never hurt or tired. Seemed like he could’ve went ten more rounds unlike Ruiz who was tired after the third or fourth round.

I think miller very clearly showed a cautiousness to Andy Ruiz’s punching power after the first round where big baby got hurt… for the first time in his career with a big right hand-left hook whilst being lazy in the clinch… That’s probably why millers output wasn’t as high as it normally is Miller still won the fight by 1-2 rounds imo

Re watching this fight now after watching it live and the work output by both 'Baby' Miller & "Destroyer" Ruiz is the reason the fight was a draw. Miller carried the fight while Ruiz dominated with constant barrages of counter punches 👏🏾

Whether he did enough to win or not, it's hard to rate Miller high after this fight, given Ruiz came off 2 years out, doesn't live the life and has looked poor in his last 3 fights. Ruiz's broken hand is the worst hand injury I've ever seen in boxing, I doubt he will be able to properly use that hand again.

The word robbery is banded around so much in boxing these days, this was a competitive close fight. Ruiz started well in the first 6, Miller came on strong in the last six, I personally had it a draw, but I can see why you could score the fight a couple of rounds to miller for the win, as in the last 30 seconds of a few rounds, he had a good flurry. But to say one guy dominated over the other boxer in this fight is absurd.

Miller lost due to the fact that he had size and reach advantage but failed to actually stop Ruiz . For him to win he needed to completely dominate Ruiz not just dance around with him . Ruiz withstood the disadvantage and miller failed to completely outshine ruiz . As he should have been able to do. Even with Ruiz hurting his right hand he was able to survive millers best with 1 left hand . He would land little puppy hits . For his size he should have been able to drop a tired ruiz . Miller just didn’t have enough power to effectively stop Ruiz and win the fight
