Golovkin v C. Alvarez 1 is one of the worst in boxing history. Alvarez ran backwards in the same direction for the full 12 rounds. One Judge had it 118/110 to Alvarez. One Judge had it a draw. No way that fight was officially a DRAW!!!!! Golovkin won CLEARLY!!!!! Was robbed of a victory.

Oscar vs Felix clear robbery...Oscar was dominating every rounds. And it was more like Oscar's victory lap (dance) rather than Trinidad dominating in last rounds. Trinidad hitting air and chasing ghost. Mayweather vs Castillo, Not a robbery. Mayweather outboxed, dictated, and dominated Castillo almost every round. Toney vs Tiberi, very close fight....nobody is dominating...Tiberi couple of times hit low blow but ref didn't punish him. If I were a judge I would give it for Toney Pacquiao vs Bradley, definitely a robbery. Bradley only can keep up first 3 rounds. Haney vs Loma, not a robbery. a lot of Loma punches that landed is just a poke, he didn't follow through. Haney landed more quality punches.

And he literally missed 95% of ALL of those combinations that looked like he was hitting bradley...This was another correct decision. lol Bradley's head movement was crazy during those flurries... slow it down and you will clearly see Manny miss more repeatedly...

Walker Let me know if there are any others that I forgot about. Haney vs Lomachenko shouldn't be on the list because Haney was the champion and the fight could have gone either way. You have to beat the champ decisively in order to win the belt an Lomachenko didn't do that especially in the early rounds. I had Lomachenko winning though 115-113 but a draw isn't far fetched either.

@@vinzetti22 Well I have taken a look at some of the most controversial decisions throughout puglism history and how it impacted the sport, the fighters careers, and the integrity and credibility in terms of judgement in the United States(mainly favoring local American fighters in competitive matches regardless of the scoring criteria). Now when it comes to Castillo vs Mayweather I. The reason why it is very high on my list is because of the destructive impact that it had on the sports trajectory in the following decades amplified exponentially and is still damaging the sport today. Arum realized he could generate massive PPV sales by protecting his young Olympian fighter at all costs. Also the judges were from Nevada and the NVAC and Top Rank definitely had influence on the judging of that fight to make sure that Mayweather could sell fights with his record and persona in the future. There is absolutely no way he would have gotten that decision anywhere else in the world without the influence of the local athletic commissions and Top Rank controlling the promotion and having the judges in their back pockets. This has been going on for a long time and its important that we have to achknowledge the real winners when using the criteria. And in this instance, the clear cut winner was Jose Luis Castillo whom nearly every educated boxing fan, expert, and purist around the world(who don't have racial or style favoritism toward certain fighters)had winning that fight. Mayweather does deserve massive credit for defeating him in the rematch, but Jose Luis Castillo has to be achknowledged as the winner in their initial fight and the whole world knows he won that fight.

Arum is the only reason why Mayweather has an unblemished record. Do you guys honestly think wothout the Nevada State Atheltic Commission influence and Top Rank influence on the judges that Mayweather would have gotten this decision? The answer is HELL NO. The worst would have been an SD or MD for Castillo. Top Rank has had a history of influencing judgement decisions for a long time to pile up Arums pockets and this eamaged the sport esepcially after Leonard Hagler in 1987.

Mayweather himself is the reason he’s undefeated…he had the cleaner shots the whole fight Castillo was jsut throwing more…a casual boxing fan watching from home can’t judge this as good as a judge on the side of the ring.
@Hashimohallim15
@Hashimohallim15 2 ай бұрын
@KINGWESTCOAST I mean he didn't do it without controversy. And besides the statistics don't say that Official punch statistics: Punches Landed: 203 for Castillo on 40% 157 for Mayweather on 35% 173 power punches for Castillo on 46% 66 power punches for Mayweather on 44% So normally when you outland your opponent and land at a higher percentage, you are being the more effective fighter throughout. And also he didnt do anything after the first 3 rounds as he got outworked, outmanuevered, and outpunched consistently throughout the remainder of the fight. He was not the ring general either as his opponent was using feints to get Mayweather away from the center of the ring and was landing body shots throughout the entire fight. My goal isn't to convince everything that what I'm saying is true I just want to speak to those of you who will listen.
@acroyerx1193
@acroyerx1193 Ай бұрын
@@Hashimohallim15 Mayweather/Castillo 1 was certainly Mayweather's toughest fight, and I would not have been angry had Castillo gotten the win, or a draw. However, you tend to overlook some things. 1, Mayweather DID land the cleaner shots, albeit Castillo landed more shots. This was due in large part to excessive holding and hitting, as well as constant bull rushing on the part of Castillo to force Mayweather to the ropes. 2, Mayweather scored as clear a knockdown of Castillo as could be in the beginning of the second round, only to have it ruled a slip. 3, Do you understand that you only need to win more rounds than your opponent? Cumulative punch stats aren’t relevant to scoring 12 SEPARATE 3 minute rounds, so unless you can show that the punching differential was spread out equally throughout 12 rounds, it means little as to who won the INDIVIDUAL rounds. 4, and although Mayweather did not use this fact as an excuse, he tore his rotator cuff two days before the fight, had it surgically repaired after the fight and the rest is history. Although this has nothing to do with WHETHER Mayweather really won or lost, I think that it certainly explains his subpar performance that night, and the reason he threw so few punches.
@Hashimohallim15
@Hashimohallim15 Ай бұрын
@@acroyerx1193 He did defeat JLC in the rematch though and I do give him credit for that, but this fight right here he just wasn't able to fight his fight and its hard for people to accept that. I know not everybody is going to agree with me and that's fine. Like I said my goal isn't to try to convince everyone that what I am saying is true. I just want to speak to those of you who will listen. Also outside of the first 3 rounds, Mayweather was only productive for one other round and that round he got a point deducted in for an elbow which was the 10th round and that's the only other round anybody can give to Mayweather besides the first 3(I gave him that round) You're also missing out the fact that he was clinching, bending below the waist, and pushing off JLC with his forearm which is illegal and should gave resulted in earlier point deductions by rule. Essentially every time Castillo would slip the jab and throw a straight left or a right to Mayweathers body which was prevalent after the first 3 rounds. Another thing is, if you look closely in round 2, Mayweathers glove didn't necessarily make contact so by rule it cannot be a knockdown as it was deeply examined. Even if you count it, you also have to account for the illegal holding, bending below the waist. and use of the forearms which would have resulted in earlier point deduction. Even in the 6th round Mayweather got lucky as that could have been scored a KD as well but the ref didn't rule it either so essentially its even that way Also if Mayweather did land the cleaner punches then why is there an 107 power punch disparity with Castillo having landed more power punches than Mayweather had punches landed overall?
@acroyerx1193
@acroyerx1193 Ай бұрын
@@Hashimohallim15 Actually I think it's way harder for the folks who believe Castillo won, as well as those who wish Mayweather wasn't undefeated to accept the results of the first Castillo fight than it is for anyone else. This fight was not a robbery; as I said, it could have went to Castillo, or been a draw and I would not have been upset either way. The honest reason so many people are stuck on this fight is because they believe that it is the only way that they can attempt to blemish Mayweather's record. If you want a robbery, go see Pacquiao/Marquez 3. Or even better, Sturm/DeLaHoya. Fights that the guy who was declared the loser won FAR more clearly than anything that happened in Mayweather/Castillo 1, but no one EVER talks about those. Ever wonder why?
