As a previous owner of a CHR I enjoyed the driving experience a lot. However all the 1200cc CHR (regardless of the manufacturing year) has the inherent fault of carbon build up in the inlet valves as this is a GDi engine. I was lucky enough not to experience any fault related to this. But it will eventually lead to injector replacement which is around 1.2 lacks for one injector, and many more. So think twice if you are considering a vehicle with GDi technology. Not just for CHR but also this GDi comes in the current CRVs too.Sadly none of the car reviewers talk about this issue, they just focus only the looks and the modern options. If you are thinking I am wrong just check on the inside of tailpipes of CHR and you will pretty much amazed with the amount of carbon build up for a newer car of this age. This is why now Toyota is making engines with both direct injection and point injection together in one engine.
I have used both. CHR driving pleasure, performance, handling, responsiveness is far better than vezel. Incredibly stable in higher speeds. Sound proof, good driving position. Mata nam hema athinma vezel ekata wadaa hondai
