@jmarie1202 they own their talent and they can use or not use it as they please. Or are you saying they can be forced to open their mouth. Artists need to understand their worth and power over their own talent. Also the audience has control over what they listen to and pay for. If the desire to listen to violent lyrics disappears, so will the violent lyrics.

Satan was in charge of music in heaven and kicked out and thrown to earth. The demonic kingdom only purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. The demonic kingdom has no positive actions, responsibilities for humans. Humans have a choice as to whom they serve and honor and promote. Anybody that is against God is with the demonic kingdom. All for the love of money. The devil told Jesus he would give him all the kingdoms of the world. The demonic kingdom has been offering humans material things since the beginning of time. Music artists have been offered negative material fame, money, material things from the demonic kingdom. It is an atrocity many have fallen into demonic traps. I have been doing music since I was a little girl. As of this comment, I am 66 years and 11 months and still doing music and have original, copyrighted songs that are for and about the health and wellbeing not only for myself but for all others. I am thankful my soul was not tricked and brainwashed to do music that would self destruct myself or others. What goes around comes around. Many communities have fallen into destructive, evil entertainment modes.

Brother Islam is 💯 correct. In marketing, it's called "demand creation" In other words CONVINCE peeps to go into the direction this capitalist system requires keep you: * Spend money you don't have or could be investing * Keep you a Lemming rather than an independent thinker Living a righteous life is frowned upon in this western society.

Yes but after a certain point you have to take personal accountability and say no. They may push it on you but at the end of the day you are the one who decides to consume it Fast food may be pushed onto you but at the end of the day you put it in your mouth. Drugs may be pushed on you but at the end of the day you are the one who decides to smoke it, drink it, shoot it up. The thot or man whore may have pushed up on you but at the end of the day you decided to lay down with them knowing you shouldn’t. We as humans know right from wrong. So at what point do you decide to take a personal stand and say NO? And trust me I don’t agree with all this propaganda sexy red, ice spice bs and I’m a woman and I don’t support it. But at the end of the day the enemy will NEVER stop trying to destroy us so are we just always supposed to fall for their new tricks just because they put their tricks everywhere (social media, tv, radio) and it’s easy for us to consume? We have to stand up and stop consuming their food! Even rats eventually figured out how to avoid the traps! And no disrespect intended. I just want us to rise up and stop letting these people manipulate us. We are being manipulated because a certain level of us wants to be. We are not so weak. We were once stronger than this. The black panther party will show you that. I wish we could go back to that.

You seem very dense. You’re acting like gangsta rap n other types of bullshit wasn’t a thing before 2003. Telling people to stop listening to new rappers as a whole is just as bad as telling people they should listen to nothing else but rap. It’s an art form that Black Americans created and it’s here to stay just like Jazz, Rock n Roll, Country, etc (things also created by us). Plenty of good Rap/Hip-Hop artists out there, and plenty of them came out recently. Do some digging on your own and maybe stop listening to the shit they repeatedly play on the radio or in the club.

@jules-oc8ox Gangsta rap in the 1990s and even the early 2000s had message. The current ones are mostly mindless. That first generation of gangsta rappers also didn't know what was happening around them. They were born in or living through the crack era. The new generation isn't walking untreaded ground. They know (or can easily find out) what is what, and what each of its effects are.

This must be a weekly discussion for our community. This panel of guests was outstanding. Please get them together as often as you can. We need our black men so much. Men if you see this post, please forgive me and many other conservative women for not being as visible or vocal about how WE appreciate our black men. We have allowed feminism and whoremongers to muffle our voices. We need you to stand up and take back the home and the children. Our sons and daughters need the strong presence of the fathers. Without you we are lost. Most women cannot raise boys to be men. Fatherless daughters have little to know discretion. We must come back together as a family unit. Family is where it begins.

Yeah, compare the promotion & coverage around Drake & Cole with coverage around Lupe Fiasco. He's "contained" to the underground. Even when it comes to favorable treatment of biracials, someone like Locksmith won't get a mainstream push because he's half Black, half Iranian & he criticizes US foreign-policy. They don't want rappers to talk about things they don't want them talking about. The control of hip hop in general really goes back to that.

Maj doesn't consider the sales and audience engagement outside of records. Drake, Kendrick & Cole aren't doing a bunch of shows throughout the year because 1 tour in the year will be enough. Other artists have to be out and front facing way more than the "Big 3" do. Club appearances, social media content. Most new artists do have to put in more work because they have their moment to capitalize off of.
