I can't believe that i sit here listening to this and reminiscing on my childhood feeling like it was just a few months ago. Trust me, I'm over half a century.

I think you're right. The clue for me was "Special Lady" by Ray, Goodman & Brown. It was around 1980 when the singing group, The Moments, renamed themselves as RG&B. So, yes. --Æ.

Ed Bartlett?? Nah. The only radio hosting he did was for Radio StETHS in about 1968-1969. For real! We had a small station which we exhibited at The Arena for Schools Science Exhibition with my batchmate Ed Bartlett on the mike. (Came 2nd; lost to Kingston Tech which displayed a working steam boiler. LOL.) --Æ.

I sing the themed song 🎵 🎶 ever so often 😢memories . I used to sit and have my breakfast 🍳 and getting ready for primary school . It would be playing in the background and this automatically brings me back 😢.

This has to be 1980 and not 1978. Both songs mentioned, "Special Lady" and "Merry Go Round" were released in 1980
