Their performance was just AMAZING.. filled with surprises and creativity! The props, dance, music, energy, costume, colours etc. couldn't be better! The amount of hard work and time they put in to this performance must have been huge.. totally deserving to WIN! I can't believe it was their first time! TRIBU LINGGANAY's performance was visually entertaining due to the multitude of colors they used for their props; the clean execution of the props and the consistency of the dancers. This was a superb performance! On the other hand, the contingent from Placer Masbate shouldn't have earned the 2nd place. That should have been for the Karatong festival.

Musicality ? So alive, Synchronization was superb, coordination of COLORS was unusual , choreography and difficulty quite high, and TINY details of errors which is expected and given. Im also a choreographer and i watched this during the awarding and MEN, i've watched a lot of festival and ritual since i was a younger and this has been one of the Not-so-perfect but this was out of being SUPERB!! How i wish i saw them during the contest proper!! CONGRATS ALANGALANG LEYTE !! Shall return c:

it was so amazing.... I am very proud as a leytehanon... their routine is more like the "ALIKARAW" who got the 3rd place last Sinulog 2008... I miss them.... But Alang-Alang ia Great.. they deserves the crown...♥♥

@ricjervoso its not just about the ritual... may reason kung bakit second lang ang masbate.. sabi ng isa sa mga judges hindi pinapakita ng masbate ang kulturang pilipino dahil very safari daw at very african.. kahit walang minus sa score ang masbate 2nd parin sila sa final ranking... hehehe.. peace!

i am from leyte but i have to disagree..... i admit...props color combinations is undeniably well done, routines and dance formations are good, they caught the attentions of the people per sue,,,,,but as i repeatedly look at their performance as well as the ritual presentation of masbate... mas my impact and well production gud and defending... not that i am opposing nor insecure sa alangalang but i am just being fair as i look keenly their rituals....
