Yes it can, but due to the MMT8 memory compatibility (Yes it can, but due to the MMT8 memory compatibility (64K blocked) it would fill up pretty fast.

Can you play notes with digits 1 to 9?

You can set the RK008 in 'tracktrig' mode (ALT+LOOP) where you can use the Track pads 1-8 to send out a custom defined note/channel combo to play.
