Hi Chris!!😀😀 You definitely did the right thing with buying that size tractor and getting the one with the cab. The heaters in those tractors work so good. I have the 2555 Mahindra. It's 55 HP. The one nice thing with the little bit bigger tractor is the cab is bigger also. My cab has windows that open just behind the doors. So when it gets to warm or cool you can open them and don't have to open the back window. Yours definitely works well for plowing your driveway. It looks about as long as mine. I finally got my front end of my truck rebuilt last summer so this year I am able to use my 8 foot Boss plow instead of the tractor and just the loader and a oversized bucket on it. Looks like there's more snow coming in a few days again for you. We are supposed to get 6 to 8 inches on Wednesday night and Thursday. Take care my friend and keep enjoying the sweet little tractor!!😀😀👍👍❤

When you said it was a mistake buying that 8N I got sidetracked. My dad used a Small diesel Ford 4wd tractor with a snow blower, no cab and he had a larger tractor with a cab and a hydraulic blade that would replace the bucket. The blower did a great job but without a cab the only thing he had to keep warm was his pipe. When he finished moving snow he looked like frosty the snowman. The blade on the front of the big tractor was what he used when the snow got deep and it was a beast. Front blade that you can angle back and forth and a large tractor with a cab is the way to go when you have a long driveway and lots of snow to move. I never used a rear blade like you have but I don’t like the idea of packing down the snow before you try and move it.... you have the right tractor and plenty of options for that huge driveway!

Just wish those front blades weren't so darn expensive!

Chris get some edge tamers for,your bucket so you don’t dig up the gravel when pushing snow. I also fabricated skid shoes for my back blade also. Like you I got long gravel driveway. I bet your loving that cab 👍

I think sometimes I would have liked to purchase my tractor sooner than I did. Now I can't imagine what I would do without it. I still have my first tractor 1946 Allis C. It still has a purpose, but like a chainsaw, can you ever have too many? No, lol 👍🔥🧡👊

Never. If I had a barn, I would have just kept the 8n.

The first tractor I ever operated was my grandfathers 8N. You would be amazed how much work he got done with that little tractor. I think it got more than twice as much use as his big green Oliver. If he were alive today I believe he would want to be plowing snow in a cab equipped RK!!!!

I’m a snowblower kind of guy but that tractor is doing a great job. Twice I bought a tractor that’s to small. I can’t get it the woods in the winter to get my wood. I think my next one will be a 2 series JD. Be kind be safe and have a day.

Now that you've had that tractor for a spell, what is your overall feeling. If you had to go back and you had the $$$ would you get the 55 instead or is the 37 a fairly decent work horse?
@KillingerUSA3 жыл бұрын
That's a good question. Because of my property being mostly wooded and most of the work I do with the tractor is general farm work and tree work, I would without a doubt get the 37. If I was moving heavier stuff and hay production, I'd probably go with the 55. Are there time I wish I had the 55? Yes, but the 37 has never let me down and has done everything i have asked it to do. It's a good all around tractor.

Im lookin into buying an RK37 open station because I am affraid to bust the windows out of a cab when im working in the woods with it.
