Him using Incantations also makes a lot of sense, narratively speaking. His whole arc in his first movie was about him transitioning from a man of science into a man of faith. Learning that there are things even someone as powerful as a Sorcerer Supreme cannot control, etc. And of course... the aesthetics. His magic is always orange and gold, the cold blues of sorceries would have clashed severely.

The Maliketh fight with the Dormamu voice overlay was comedic gold! well done. This looks like a fun build and interesting challenge. The hardest fun build I'm currently doing is an "Ancestral Follower" Str/Int using only what the minitour folks wear and use, or approximate i.e. Loretta's Greatbow. I've done a necromancer (Death sorceries), Marika (Golden Order/Erdtree/2fingers), sanguine noble (Reduvia+Bloody Hellice), Spartan (Greatshield/Great Spear), Magnus-El (Skyrim pure mage), God Killer (Godskin/Godslayer), and Ravenmount Assassin.

I wanna try a Dr. Strange build and use a summon for the more difficult bosses because the Sorcerer Supreme can create illusory copies of himself. Also the voice you chose sounds similar to Benedict Cumberbatch lol.

Summons supported if you can make a marvel universe character companion for going through the game (I e. Could make wolverine with a Regen build, but would be more like a weakened Logan - or could be made into a dual katana Deadpool build) and using claws. Hawkeye with a bow build. Make a small hulk with the normal or spike cestus' (depending on if your inspiration may be worldbreaker or another version). Cyclops, with the frenzied flame incants that come from the eyes. Making it a multiplayer fashion-Ring playthrough could be fun for co-operative play.

But when it comes to making a character in all their likeness, it only makes sense to include summons since that's basically 90% of his abilities (even his more mundane spells are contracted from other magical creatures/entities)

Impressive. I actually tried to do a Strange build before but sort of just lost interest halfway through. I was also taking some liberties and was using a magic enhanced sword to replicate the sword he sometimes summons/the "scalpel" he used during a run in the comics.

Two questions: - Why no Golden Order Talisman? - Why no Sorceries? He's the Sorcerer Supreme after all. Is it because he doesn't use staves to cast his spells?

1. Most if not all bosses have a high resistance to holy damage, so I opted not to use golden order incantations a lot to stay sane 2. I initially wanted to use sorceries as well, but decided against that as it's just too boring, and I don't believe that Dr Strange uses staves all that much, that's my reasoning behind going all in on incantations

@@ix_risor It does at 80 faith and intelligence, which requires a high level of investment. The Erdtree seal is the best scaling seal with pure faith and no other stat investment, same with Prince of Death staff, both are way back-loaded for multiple NG+ cycles

@@billbene8280 Golden Order Seal isn't really backloaded. Erdtree Seal at 80fth has 353 SB, while a Golden Order Seal at 45/45 has 338 SB. Yes it's slightly weaker but nowhere near as bad as the PoDS at 45/45 (266 SB).

Try beating the game as Zorro (the Spanish swashbuckler one) For your weapons, use the Rapier, Whip and a Parrying Dagger. You could reasonably also use a seal but only for support incantations as Zorro is Catholic and usually ends up on the side of the church in his adventures. Throwing knives and crossbows would also be thematically appropriate tools. Zorro is known to be an acrobat so you should equipment load should always allow you to be able to light roll. As far as the drip, the confessor set with a black blindfold "eyepatch" is as close as you can get to a matching his black costume while minimizing weight. There aren't many hats or masks in the game but the Alberich, Alberich variant or Spell Blade would suffice. And if you can, try making the character look like Antonio Banderas.
