I am a Japanese who loves Celtic music, and I found this song on Spotify and learned that it is an arrangement of a famous song. I love the singing voice and the instrumentation, but I especially like the sound of the uilleann pipes. I am grateful for the miracle of finding such a wonderful arrangement of the song.

Does this song have a specific Irish step to dance to? If so, where is it placed within the track? Thank you, and I love your music. You are just as good on your own as you were with Celtic Woman. Also, what type of dance would this be… Jig or hornpipe?

Ironically this song is supposed to be a lament for Ireland. That's why it never sounded quite right to me until I heard it played slow and soft by another group. The lyrics don't match the tone here at all.
@stevienichol10082 жыл бұрын
Plenty of bouncy tunes the daft lass could sing. This was written as a lament for the fallen 'Heros' at Culloden.

The tone of this song so wrong in the context this old Irish song. The tone is completely unsuitable for the lyrics.
