I love that my motor is Permanently mounted to my motor plate with an impact driver. Now I'll just but another plate and a different motor. I'm sure I can do it in under an hour.

Brilliant video mate yes im different going to upgrade my after i strip my gold plated spur gear 52t one what came with the car. So yes great info. Can you send me the link for the spur gear you got in the video thanks 😊

I have the sliding motor mount & other spare bits on order also. I busted front hub carrier so it's out of commission... i was able to super glue & bash again, but same piece broke again.... I'll change gearing once parts arrive & begin quest to 100mph 👍🏾

I have pretty much the same setup,I just pull the top brace off and unscrew the mount and flex the chassis while turning the mount upwards and wiggle it out after taking the drive cup off and it slide right out. Only 8 screws to remove it to gain access to the spur this way.

Cool video, I rethought about ordering a Rlaarlo AK917 carbon fiber chassis roller and i might pick up a few essential upgrades. I plan to go with a pretty good 10th scale electronics since i plan to mostly drift around and street bash. since i don't really have a good enough long stretch of road for speedruns.

Thanks for the pinion and spur gear change video it was very educational! it looks like if you take your time you'll do alright i notice you have to set the mesh before you put it on the frame, Rlaarol has an adjustable mount that shift you think it might work with the small gear and the gold-plated pinion ?

Thanks Reginal! I do have the adjustable mount on order, but no clue when it will ship 😢. It may work with the small spur and supplied pinion but not sure.

Hello. I have metal roller. I just realized, that only motor install requires whole back disasembly....because is not possible to tight screws which holding motor on mount. I do not want to change spur, just change pinion or change motor. Its very user unfriendly. Stock motor mount can not be removed without put all back off. Only solution is order the optional slide motor mount. But i takes another 1-2months via shipment...

Subbed. Did you have to tune the cars suspension on the shock spring adjusters, camber, toe in, ride height front & rear to get the car running straight, or were the stock settings pretty good out the box.

So far I have only added in some spacers/stoppers to the shocks to avoid bottoming out and it has run pretty straight once you get up to speed. I do also have the rear shock spring adjusters pretty much all the way down (max pring tension) as well.

@@kdubrc1979 Thank you for your reply, re the shocks spacer/stops. Were these spacers to stop bottoming out added to the outer shock shafts. Also did you add any spacers on the inside of the shocks on the shock shafts to shorten the shock travel. Have you bothered setting the car lower at the front than the rear.

The upgrade motor.mount lets you undo two screws from the top of the mount and slide like an arrma mount. Just waiting for it to arrive. Mmx8s and 4082 rocket motor. Going to run 100kmh only but want to have no heat issues
