Rlaarlo AK917 on 12s!?!?! (520kv SH Rocket Motor)

Those 917s are a pretty good platform for just about anything. Nice build. I bought one last year and crept the battery out for a crawler. Might be time to take a second look.

Don't think she would be race-ready in time and I'm still looking for a speed run location. But, I do think it would have been fun to enter and see how she held up 🙂. Thanks for watching!

Power to weight and traction will always be your enemy. It’s interesting to see but realistically a 20 hp motor is not gonna make a 10 lbs car go faster without a lot of weight. Cool stuff tho
