That's weird. Perth West Oz RC got 42 mph on the stock pinion. Don't hold your breath on large scale from Rlaarlo. As size goes up by 1, mass goes up by 4, and when mass goes up, durability goes down unless you can afford a lot of R&D There's a reason budget brands don't do 8th scale. Not true 8th scale anyways.

Considering it's the same size as my 14th scale LC RACING EMB-TGH truggy which is a far better RC than this budget RLARRLO . Consider also , on 3S the LC RACING truggy will top 50 + mph . Even the 14th scale LC RACING buggy stock out of the box will top 45+ mph . on 3S 🤣🤣🤣 . If you want the best of the best small scale RC manufacturer , spend a little more , go with LC RACING . NO need to upgrade for higher speeds with the LC RACING EMB RTR RC'S , Unless you want to really push towards that 100mph mark 🤣🤣🤣 .

Ordered mine (Blue), hopefully after putting speed pinion in it’s as fast as am-x12 was out of the box. Definitely excited about this new one! My favorite Rlaarlo is the original am-x12! Can’t wait! 👍🏻

Does 40mph on stock pinion and 3s, Im going to change the receiver to a Dumbo Gyro Reciever, and bind it with my Rlaarlo Rally receiver. I bought the Black/Yellow model, clipless would have been nice.

I have seen 2 other testers get 40mph & 42mph on stock car, with stock pinion & not speed pinion. Did you have the throttle set to 100% on the tx.

Just ordered a red one last night. Recently got hooked on these affordable RCs. Already have a Rog1. A couple a days ago just received a Omni Terminator Carbon. And now this. Very nicely designed buggy for sure. I like how the motor mount is setup and the paint job. It sure ran nice and held up to the jumps. Super glue the wing. lol Great job!!!!

I just ordered the Red-Bull using your link. It looks like its gonna be better than the Typhon Grom Blx 223s. Im breaking a dog bone or cvd every other run on my Grom but still love it, so cant wait to get this running.

Plastic on the wing is a bummer. Had the og since launch and bashed it hard year round, especially in the cold as my dedicated winter rc. Wing is pretty beat up now but fully in tact. Was actually considering buying the wing from this for a replacement, guess not. The og one was super bendable durable type plastic. This one seems to be a rigid type maybe, any how the regression in parts or materials, at least here is a little disappointing, hope it’s isolated to the wing.

For that money you could better grab a Typhon or better the nearly undestructable Mojave Grom BLX in that fantastic black/gunmetal grey for a fewbucks more . From a standstill on Ovonic 3S/2200mah/80C lipo and its DSC it accelerates faster than 4S and 6S vehicles. And when you feel its quality and weight in hand you know you have a real treasure there !

I think this is a little bigger than the Groms he should put them next to each other to compare I think groms are 1/16 maybe 14 scale but this might be small as ther 1/10 scale are more like 1/12 lol so idk

I give you a lot of credit for at least running, rippin, bashing and testing RCs. A lot of these cats on youtube do a lot of yapping on podcasts, a lot of unboxing AND SELLING. bragging about 12S this and 16S that but in they backyards on 15 feet square of land bashing, ninja's are frauds 😂😂😂😂
