So the first few lines are about how happy the soldier is to receive a pass letting him go home for a bit.

The Latvian legion in idea werent nazis. They actually were gonna rebel against the Germans after the war. It's a latvian legionary song, and that is why he used Latvian legion photos, learn history before you accuse someone of being a Nazi or such.
