I'm getting annoyed by snow during winter since I'm on the middle of a build process. I'm using my favorite bucket of water to clean the fields since water push the snow and tall grass away.

Backpacks can sometimes despawn with everything in it. Lost some backup gear, 4 crates of night vision potions and some good Lycanites dungeon loot. A better solution is carrying around an ender chest full of the crates you build with steel (mini shulkers) or filling your mounts/pets inventory with crates. Also having an extra bauble because youre not wearing a backpack is nice too

I'm disappointed a bit since the title said for beginners and "pros" but anyone who played rlcraft for a little while would know all those tips, they're not bad, just in the complete majority for beginners (excluding maybe the equipment forge, didn't know how to use it until I started hunting dragon lairs). But here are a few more, Craft a grappling hook, play around with that, useful always, make sure to bring it to the Amalgalich fight ,or other boss fights if you want to escape, but against the final boss it would be extra useful as he sucks you in. If you want a pet dragon, you need to find a dragon lair, took me literally hours to find one, I heard searching on coasts is good but didn't work for me, found my first one in an underground dungeon, be prepared because you'll have to defeat mama dragon for the egg (they're more trouble than their worth utility wise but they're cute af) If you stumble across a rotten egg, throw it on the floor, you might get a pet cockatrice to follow you around or defend your base, I have quite a few chickens on a hopper to farm those lizzy chickens. You can breed makas and other animals that give you the buff meats, some require simply veggies, others would require to kill a farm animal(chupacabras or pinkies), you can see their diet in the beastiary. Something I did was keeping a pet with a chest full of death scrolls, golden apples, and a recall potion, that way if I die and my spawn was away from base, I could summon the pet, eat apple for extra protection, death scroll, pick up my stuff, and recall as fast as possible. If you face amalgalich, make sure your bow has pushing, it will yeet his attacks away from you (combined with the hook and dragon armour, this boss will be a breeze) Warp scrolls can save you a few levels of xp if you use them to travel to waystones. Use a roc to trap a nymph in your base, name her so she won't disspawn. Craft a savage summoning staff, from my experience most mobs will focus on you anyway, so summon double minions with half health. Level up sneak damage, from what I understand it affects minions as well, summon 10 blue boys while holding a sabre(or lance if you are on a mount) while sneaking behind a bush and watch the carnage. If you want to keep your base safe, kidnap a villager, when I did it, he spawned blue boys. Even if you are not planning on dying(hardcore), craft xp tomes anyway, the level ups you get when you press L will take the levels by level not by xp, pretty sure it's the same with all vanilla xp uses as well, so you want to be as close to the level you need as you can be to not use 30 levels worth of xp for a thing that's worth 3 levels. Tame an epion, they come out on full moons and you can break blocks while riding them, even if you get a better battle mount I don't think there's a better mount for building and cheesing dungeons. In the huge dungeons with tons of minibosses there's one miniboss that will snipe your head, he damages you enough to kill you through enchanted dragon armour, keep your distance, I think it was the crypt executioner. Fire breath weapons are extra effective to kill ice dragons and vice versa. This one I didn't do but apparently you can update the ice and fire mod somehow, making dragonsteel armour if you get a pet dragon, making them useful. Don't wear a dragons eye to a Gorgon fight, it will null the effect of the eye thingy that you need to kill her. Sceptres are fun, not really necessary most of the time but throwing lava as an aoe attack it pretty neat. There are a second reforging station that will use xp to reroll secondary traits of baubles. You can use the dragon's eye to mine specific ores, the default key is one of the num pad numbers don't remember which. Never reset the controls in rlcraft, I did it after failing to make my pet dragon controls match the other mounts, it resets to the controls to the mod default instead of the modpack default. Keep pet dragons in horns, they might bug out of existence if you keep them outside, it's rare but super annoying. If you stumble across a wither dungeon, even if you can take a million of them, your pc can only take so much, break the spawners before they break your pc. Shift right click on a chest or a vanilla animal to pick it up, the chest will remain full of it's goodness. You can use the grappling hook to cheese battle towers, just pull the golem towards you a couple of times before it activates, same with fishing rods. Eruption might turn cobblestone to lava, so don't use it as a building material. Instead of a redstone contraption I think you can use a boat to trap mobs. If you level up your crafting and you smelt faster, you have to bind your furnace to you, shift right click when you have something in your offhand, if you do it barehanded you'll pick up the furnace. While you can brew recall potions, I wouldn't do more than a first batch, pretty much every dungeon gives you a recall potion or two and by endgame I had more than half a stack while I was using them super liberally, like 20 blocks away from my base and I forgot my atlas liberally. There's a magnet belt that can repel arrows, it also attracts drops from nearby, polarised stone. There's a lost city dimension I never visited but I would like to, not really a tip but never heard people talk about it. If you beat all the bosses and looking for that extra challenge, you can ummon them again with diamond keys, still too easy? Summon them with an emerald one. Keep things you easily forget on a pet so you can always summon them. Striders aren't the best mount in the game but they have more storage than any other pet I personally have. You can access your pet inventory while you ride it, pretty sure it's M by default by I might be wrong. Canteens are super handy, and charcoal filters are cheap, don't be cheap, purify your water, it wasn't relevant when the video was made byt 2.9 will actually damage you if you drink unpurified water so better get used to it. Lastly, not a tip, but tame 5 cocademons and set them on aggressive far from your base in a bloodmoon or a dungeon, carnage is always fun. I was doing some research as I'm planning on starting a hardcore world when 2.9 comes out, and stumbled across this video if you have any advanced videos with general tips I'd be happy if you direct me to it.

Tip: if you find an underwater dungeon break all the spawns expect elder guardians. Since the Elder can drop the vitamins bottle almost all the time it gets easy to make spectral slit using a disintegration tablet , 4 blaze powder, 1 redstone, and 4 nether quartz, is the easiest way to get pendants and other things that require this material. It looks like because you can smelt diamond gear, diamonds are renewable. Do you think this should be in the vanilla game? Maybe balanced so that each piece gives 1 diamond shard(9 make a diamond)?

i got so triggered when u explained how to get wood, and then when u said it was a joke I N S T A N T F U C K I N G R E S P E C T now playing rlcraft, i got kinda stuck just staying in a house getting iron halberds (i like the range and high base damage) tryna find a way to get summoning staff or cooling coil. then i accidentally spawned 500 cold enemies by moving ooze to my house and lost like everything including 6 buckets

My contribution would be: you should build both reforge station as soon as you can to get best in slot quality on each bauble. The once that requieres mats to reforge, use it as soon as you can and the one with xp when ur in the mid game :) also when u have ur res rings consider getting some levels in iron skin, it will help a lot

ik im late and u probably already know but here's how u get wood, you break gravel until you get flint, and keep right clicking on the top any stone block like stone or cobblestone. it takes 1-2 clicks, you can make a flint shard, craft this with a stick to make a flint knife, use the knife to break grass and get plant fiber, craft 3 plant fiber into plant string, use the plant string with a stick and another flint shard to make a flint hatchet. now you can break wood

Glad you asked. I believe in life without addictions. I try to educate people not to make any interest into addiction. I have never been drunk or even tipsy and have never consumed any drugs. I believe no one needs any of those to have fun. However, I do believe that video games is a better way to have fun that drinking or consuming drugs so video games is the only addiction (joke) that we need :) hope that answers your question
