It's kind of ironic that I'm saying that you should stay out more during the night even to a point where I suggest sleeping during the day in a "how not to die" guide but it's mostly just for the sake of taming pets. Once you've tamed your pets (except for flight-exploration) you'd want to avoid the night

Honestly that vento/rapier combo made it so night doesn't even matter. It was basically the same as daytime just hard to see plus free xp, mob drops, and armor drops

Without a light source a Grue, darkling or shade will spawn and you'll still die unfortunately Just saying

@@saa4767 Both beds and waystones save your spawnpoint. The spawnpoint that gets used when you die is the most recent one you saved. If the last thing you did was sleep then you'll spawn in your bed, if the last thing was interacting with a waystone, then you'll spawn by the waystone

I personally reccomend getting a dragon head from a dead dragon so you can craft a dragon's eye and kill a dragon easily.

Unless you're already heavily geared you probably won't have the necessary glowing ingots and diamonds, but yes, it's still safer than fighting a dragon to get the skull.

@@LordAngrim I mean you can cheese some towers with just a roc or even just a few blocks and a fishing rod, might take a bit to get enough glowing ingots but it ain't that hard actually

@@iheavilyregret6799 yeah but with diamond blocks (and bottles of xp - you find those in the tower too) you can make diamond armor and enchant it.. that's what I call "heavily geared" You can't really make any better armor unless you kill a dragon or sea serpent

@@LordAngrim ooooo true true, btw I always like to kill dragons using a morock + a Chaotic energy wand I don't remember the name, it shoots a slow but high damage ball that explodes, gives wither + paralyzes the dragon. So you can just go around it spamming the wand and won't take long to take him down

Generally, I don't pick them due to their poor mobility and because they can't crowd control as well as an aegis could, but it's your call ;D

It's a different torch, the standard torch recipe builds torches that go out, you need a different torch (with glowstone paste) to have them last forever

Best choice is to hide under a tree and not get caught in the first place but if you do then you should just hit them (just look upwards) if you don't they'll never drop you
