2:46 yep thats a dragon nest. theyre super annoying 5:34 infernal mob. they have random buffs to them, one of them you have to look out for is the "Sticky" modifier which makes you drop your weapon if you hit it. HOWEVER they drop bronze weapons and sometimes chainmail/iron armor/enchanted books 7:02 it just allows you to use more items and thats it. if you continue to play this i will help :D

RL craft is always a barrel of laughs...... when your watching, not so much when playing, it's stress incarnate... Don't light any open fires and careful in or around structures with higher definition textures, bring lots of blocks to make walls.
