It was recorded just 3 months before his stroke and paralysis in 1961 by paying 45000 rupees by Hindustan recording companys GN Joshi..after 2 years of waiting. So we all are lucky to get it recorded befor his paralysis in 1961

Unless I’m mistaken, tabla saath is provided by none other than Khan Saheb U. Nizzamuddin Khan. You can tell it is him by the mukhdas and the way the tirikitas are rendered and also baya balance.

Mayank Raj This is recorded only after repetitive appeal to record his best,but at that time bgak's voice has changed a lot. As per my experience bgak's best malkauns is which is sung in Pakistan and khyal gayaki after his paralysis attack recovery. This is also very good,but you can see his decline of voice from this record onwards, which recorder also accepts.
