Domodachi is RM's life in a nutshell. The pressure and the people trying to control them, tell them what to do, etc. He with the his friends help him navigate the mayhem and he survives to fight another day. But he does not go home where it is quiet and safe. He hungers to be with those that are in the struggle with him and he wants to find that place above the mayhem. He wants to fight his way.

Rpwp is so amazing. He blew my expectations and i love the MVs! Those are perfect for each songs The Domodachi MV is crazy. I was so confused and I'm not that smart but my interpretation after watching it a couple of times is that when the kid went to the chaotic side on his own, he found out a friend that helped him go through all of that and escape. When the kid went to the nice place again he realized that he couldn't leave a real friend behind so he came back to save him or maybe to stay in that place for a while I guess

Hiziesss🦋 When 'Groin' came out and I watched the MV to it, I was straight up laughing (but not in a bad way) I know 1 billion percent this was filmed in London, the streets, the houses the bus sign, deffo UK, there was a house that also said 86A Cobbled Road at like 2:18 (of the MV), which is in London. I'm British 😂 But also, the fact that he chose to have this song filmed here in the UK fits so well... ngl we are a very informal country (I know the outside world see Oxford and Cambridge and the Queen (well, King now) and think we're all posh but absolutely that is untrue... to an extent, depends where you live) Namjoon straight up looks like a 'Roadman', they're usually guys that spend most of their time hanging around on the streets, talking sh*t with the most slang way of speaking, causing trouble and wearing like joggers, tracksuits, puffy jackets and some sort of high end brand (probably from the black market tbh) and Namjoon is kinda embodying that style I feel, it's so funny to me and I was just wheezing throughout all of it, it felt so British to me lol😂 Also this song has so many curse words and vulgar-esque language which also fits very well with us I feel, I hear that kind of language out and about all the time., sometimes absolutely worse, but that kind of language is very much normalised, I'd hear it during my school days and it's just the way people would speak to each other. I just love how much Namjoon captured the youthsss here lmao😂 wow this comment is longgg anyway... This whole MV just screams British youth💜🇬🇧

My interpretation for Domodachi: People are demanding/expecting all kind of things from and are pulling at him from a very young age (you see them pulling him in the beginning of the video). RM was an underground rapper since the age of 13. He's feeling suffocated (you see him in the metro and it's very crowded). Everyone wants to dance with him and be friends with him just because he's famous (it's not genuine). He and the supposed friend want to get out of there and they escape. Another friend helped them out but is left behind. At the end he goes back to save his friend because real friends always have got your back and are always there when you need them. I think it symbolizes him going from underground rapper from a very young age to an idol singer. And that he can only cope with this crazy/confusing world because he has his friends (the other members and maybe other friends) around him...

From the 3 videos my favorite is “Nuts” (very Freudian title by the way 🌚) but ok, in Domodachi MV I think the kid represents Namjoon’s innocence more than Namjoon himself, I think that’s why we see interactions with adults in a partial light there’s a lot that we can’t see, but we know is part of the chaos and at the end the boy go back, it could interpret to go back to innocence but more knowledgeable.

Domodachi could represent him wanting to escape from the chaotic K-pop world and the ending could be seen as him realizing he can’t escape it and really doesn’t want to because he realizes that the chaos is also part of that world and he’s learned to be ok with it.

Don't forget domodatchi means 'thank you friend'. So the end conclusion must be that his real friends (in the video the one that helped him escape) help him cope with this confusing (it's all chaos in the video) world. I think the beginning represents him going from a very young age (13) from an underground rapper to an idol singer and people demanding all kind of things from him and pulling at him (you can see this in the video). The people that want to dance with him are fake friends that only want to be around him because he's famous. And the subway that's very crowded means he feels suffocated (Jimin actually used this word in the album exchange documentary - he said RM felt suffocated)...

Great reaction. Various BTS members have taken leadership roles in the army. I do not know that they need a leader anymore. RM plays sax in the militairy band and he looks happy.
