the revelation that jimin and namjoon are the closest in the group is quite surprising, but perhaps not entirely unexpected. people only remember that RM has a high I.Q., but forget that jimin was valedictorian of his batch in high school, and that jimin's classmates used to call him a "math god" -- so jimin would, in fact, be intellectually compatible with RM! also, both are introspective, as confirmed by the deep private conversations they had as trainees. it's like a meeting of minds and souls! and the fact the both RM and jimin live in the same luxury apartment complex just walking distance from each other just highlight their closeness. of course, it's more than precious for jimin to say that "he's someone i really need in my life" and for namjoon to say that jimin is "a family member who is always by my side." and for RM to publicly say that he'd like for him and jimin to put out an album together means they might be artistically compatible as well! and why not? as a writer, RM is a poet of the pen, and as a dancer, jimin is a poet of motion. rapper and vocalist each with very distinct colors and tones. overall, the video provides fresh insights into the dynamics between jimin and namjoon. and their affirmations of each other are rare and hard to find. they're so lucky to have such a beautiful friendship.

I think jimin its the closest with intellectual capabilities but i wouldnt say on par given the speed and quickness namjoon often processes questions and situations but jimin is brilliant also. The same level though is not quite right and doesn't diminish jimins love of maths. I think emotionally though its where they are truley on par and where minimoni can really relate and understand each other.

Minimoni! These guys are precious. I am so glad that they have each other. Jimin is the perfect person to have this type of discussion with. A true empath that one. ❣️️RM himself said, that Jimin is the most mature out of all the members! RM also said that he has more in common with Jimin then any other member! He also mentioned that Jimin seems to understand him the most since they both are so much alike in so many ways, so introspective, self questioning & doubting or second guessing at times. They are both equally selfless almost to a fault, both always supporting, & putting attention on other members before themselves!! Jimin is the one that supports, respects & admires, advises, & gives RM the incentive & encouragement to go on with certain thing! But RM does the same for Jimin!! They actually now, since they all live alone, even live in the same condo complex. They have always stayed up late night, having deep conversations together! JIMIN also is the one that speaks up, reminding others, praising RM just how much, how hard work RM does continually on behalf of everyone! They both love astronomy, looking up, just gazing at the stars, nature, the outdoors, being near water, or hanging out at the park together, also going on bike rides together! Jimin, also has the ability to bring out the little kid, the, adorable precious little boy in RM, which is always so awesome and a joy to see!! They really have one of my most fav relationships, MiniMoni, because aside from all the support, care, & love they give to each other, their artistry & musical creations are that much better for the advice & support & encouragement they give each other! RM himself in a vlog, discussing the making of MOTS: 7 praised & acknowledged how it was Jimin that loved the song Zero O'Clock so much, and encouraged RM to continue & complete it! RM has always said that out of all the members, he feels like Jimin and him think along the same lines. They have had deep, philosophical conversations all through the past 12 years. Even though RM was the leader - he still is just a year older than Jimin - and Jimin is very empathic and altruistic and always thinks of others first, only wishing for them to be healthy and happy. I think he was a great foil for RM and given that Jin isn’t available (we know Jin and RM are close as well). I loved Jimin’s honest reactions shown on his face). Thanks for the great reaction!

❣ I believe that Jimin was the perfect choice, since this was more all about all the inner thoughts, feelings, struggles Namjoon was going through during the time of making this album as well as beforehand as well! Jimin, who has the ability to be empathetic, as well as such a good listener, was the right person to choose. RM has had more deep thought provoking deep discussions with even as Jimin mentioned here, during their rookie yrs. In personal life as was mentioned in one of their MiniMoni vlogs, they are a lot closer, then shown on screen. Jimin made a point of asking all the right questions that army wanted to hear as well as adding his own insightful, perceptive input of so many things RM goes through as leader as well as just in general! Unbeknownst to many they communicate & know each other so well, way more privately then many realize. Aside from most of the members already in the military, so not available back then, I honestly believe RM, anyway, in general feels most comfortable with Jimin, since he’s always so selfless, empathetic, support for the members in general aside from RM. I never knew he had thoughts like that, he always seems so sure of himself and upbeat. I love how empathetic Jimin is I thought he was absolutely perfect for this moment with RM.And to know RM was going through all of this is just so sad. Sometimes people forget how young RM was when he started the responsibility of being a leader of a group and to carry that group in the middle of a company on a brink of bankruptcy and dealing with the harsh and judgmental korean society, he was just a teen when he started and thats not easy.. and going thru 10 years of it and navigating unexpected global success and the pressures that comes with it both physically and emotionally and mentally is not for a faint hearted. And people find it so easy to dehumanise them just because they think they are public property just because they are celebrities... i can totally understand how he wants to detach from all of this and take a lil step back to get back to reality and to be kind to himself. He deserves all the good things that his success brings because he definitely went thru hell and back and to keep this positivity and humility with him and the rest of the boys.. they are truly amazing group of 7 men .... My heart was breaking as I listened to RM… but also realizing how much all 7 members have had to endure all these years with haters, the pressures of being #1, the pressures from their society, the pressures from their own expectations,… so much we don’t even know or can imagine. But him being the leader and their representative at home and abroad, wow, that would drive anyone with less character mad. He has also been very lucky that all 7 of them are so supportive of each other and especially him as their leader. I believe they would have disbanded back in 2018 if it hadn’t been for that bond they share. I’m so glad he called Jimin for this!!! RM relies on: Jin for his lightness and quiet support, on Suga for his practical strength, on Hoesek for his steadfast joy, on the other maknaes for their intense admiration and faith… and on Jimin for his pure devotion, unwavering emotional support, and the certainty that Jimin will intuitively understand what RM the leader & RM the person are feeling. There’s such trust there that RM opens up to Jimin as just a man; not as BTS’s leader. They view music w/ the same depth - RM’s brain and Jimin’s empathy meet in perfect understanding. You can tell how worried Jimin was at the beginning of the listen, RM’s lyrics cut deep.. a lot of FACE dealt w/ similar dark themes (having to wear a mask when all you want to do is be yourself, etc). Jimin knew how hard it was for him to fight back to hopefulness, and you can see his concern for RM the more they listened. But, Jimin being Jimin, he kept adding in lightness, showed his respect for RM’s journey… and you see RM really smile - like really really genuinely grin - as they got to the hopeful part of the album. Let me tell you, this is a very emotional video. RM is just a masterpiece. He deserves to be lifted and praised. Not everyone is going to understand the cycle of one's life, and he has shown strength throughout the years, even in his darkest shadow. He is gifted beyond measures. For him to maintain such consistency with everything going on around him, yet he still maintains that level of growth, strength, and guidance within his circle. What I love about him is that he found someone who understood and knew his weakness. Jimin is such a good friend, brother, good listener, and most caring and humble youth in the universe. We really dont know how pressured RM has been for what at least 13 years. We celebrated 11, but RM been in chargevof this group atvleast 2 years prior. He was a kid given a big responsibility. Love this review. Jimin is that person for all them. We saw how Hobi reacted at hobipolooza and Yoongi when Jimin came to NY/NJ, now RM. I think next we will see how JK and Jimin from them in NY and Japan. I remember Yoongi said when he had his surgery, it was Jimin that came to his home. Jimin is just that compassionate and empathetic person for them all. Just think early on he was almost kicked out the group. I hope Jimin has that person too, cause as someone who feels for others it can hurt if you dont have that in return. I just pray hebhas that someone.

My first thought (long before this album) is that he and Namjoon really need to go on Eric's podcast and discuss it because Eric is a great interviewer and can keep them on track. Could you respect and love 2 artists any more? Both are so honest, insightful, self-aware and empathetic. And for Jimin to trust and support RM when he kept his distance from the members (because he needed to for his own health and well being) is an act of pure love. All of the members amaze me - but Jimin's selflessness touches my heart, time and time again. Boys - serve well and stay safe!

Just want to leave some appreciation for all 3 of you…which I should do more often. 💜💜💜 I’ve been following you all almost from when you first started, and I’ve left countless quiet likes… but should thank you for the many hours I’ve spent re-watching BTS content, such as this one, with you…only this time with good company! I’m on my third viewing of Run BTS with you guys, for example and it’s so fun! I always love the new perspective that you bring. Was waiting for you all to watch this and was so excited when I saw it posted. Such a great conversation between Jimin and RM! Thanks for loving all seven of the members of BTS, and always being so real and honest! I think it’s natural to want to share the things that you love with others who think the same way, but none of my irl are ARMY… so you guys have filled that role more times than you can imagine. 🫰

Nico made a point to highlight the vast collection of books that RM has which immediately reminded me of lyrics from an old X Clan song "Grand Verbalizer" which states, "swimminh in the books but the books ain't giving" The verse rings true because RM believes that he will eventually find the answers to life that he so desperately seeks if he just keeps reading hoatds of books, but he won't because what he's looking for is not found in any book that exists. RM seeks the truth and once he is enlightened, then he can access THE TRUTH which comes from only one source

I can completely understand how RM feels when he said that he was always so intense…I lost my hubs about a year and a half ago, and even though I’m not really ‘doing anything’, there is still such a sense of being on edge…like, I should be doing something, but I don’t know what it is….. This album is so good and I’m glad that he feels like he can relax a bit more!
