My son passed out in 235, June 2017. I was immensely proud and I'm not embarrassed to say I had tears in my eyes on one of the best days of my life. At this minute he's in Norway doing Arctic training. Love you H.

Great video. As an outsider I feel fortunate to share this troop's passing out from recruits to trained Marines. These men through their bearing and turnout show a clear pride in the uniform they wear and the cap badge that is displayed on their headdress- as it should be. The impression left is these Marines through their service will add to the glorious history of the Royal Marines. This is the smartest formation of troops I have seen in a very long time. Well done Marines!!!

I passed out with 600Tp in 1990. It’s a great day for the family. You usually go back with your family for the weekend before returning to your unit. We were sent straight out to our units and Iraq. This was the first time that newly passed out Marines had been sent to an operational theatre since WWll. Our families were unaware of this and you ought to have seen my mother’s face, ha ha.
