@@VanCityGal I'll try with my poor English 😅😅There are many ryhme in his korean lyric. For example, "When all this fame turned into shackles", 'fame' and 'shackles' have almost same sound in Korean. Another example, "My start was poetry", "Start" is pronounced "Si-Jak", and "Poetry(poem) " is pronounced "Si" in Korean, so "Si-jak' starts with "Si"(poem). His wordplay with double meaning is great.

i love how he used the fact that the word for 'fire/spark' and 'flower' is the same in traditional korean and made it 'flowerwork' instead of 'firework.' the way it represents how he's still just a flower from the flower field even if he's shooting across the sky like explosive fireworks. esp bc their concerts end with a firework show. so even when he's soaring high as bts's RM, he's still the simple flower kim namjoon, and that's okay. this is such a beautiful song, and the whole album is a complete masterpiece: each song really does feel like a different chapter in namjoon's life. not to mention the genre diversity! namjoon really gave us, hip hop, folk, r&b, citypop and even hyperpop in the same album while still making it a cohesive body of work. truly one of my favorite projects to come out of bts/bts members in the past few years.

THE ALBUM IS AMAZING, I feel like I have been wrapped in a warm blanket. It is hard to pick a favourite track as they all fit together from start to finish like one big story. This is exactly why BTS and each member can stand alone in the industry. They are nice to have like a cherry on top but we don't NEED visuals, we don't NEED a concept, we don't NEED to see the clothes/hair/makeup, we don't NEED videos - WE HAVE THE MUSIC. I don't know if you know this already, but Namjoon means for us to listen to the album in order. My top 3 is definitely Wildflower, Forgetful, and Change pt.2. It's such a sonically pleasing album with different elements and sounds. Genres like rnb, edm, jazz, ballads, and indie acoustics blend so well throughout the album. I've never heard such a cohesive, but diverse piece of work ever. He does such a great job of weaving stories and emotions into his works, it's insane and stunning.

This song is so gorgeous, and the video rips my heart apart. I just want to hug him. It really struck me that throughout all this pain and confusion, there are purple flower petals are falling down on him until the end when he's lying in a field of purple flowers, and the petals are raining down on him. Its like he was telling the story of how he's struggled, but he never stops feeling ARMY with him. My heart just breaks everything I watch this. But luckily, the album is really good all around, and the whole mood is not like this.

I concur...its a perfect song. The whole album is beautiful. My favorites at the moment are Wildflower, Yun, Change pt.2, and honorable mentions Lonely, Still Life, All Day. Granted I haven't read lyric translations for half of them yet. It takes me a while to marinate over any BTS music but especially Namjoon as lyrics are his Forte.

I haven't heard the album yet but I can say this single had everything I could have hoped and imagined within it. I simultaneously feel like I knew what this was going to sound like and I'm blown away at the same time. I'm so happy he can continue to share his deep lyricism and it still had a healing vibe but there's also something so commercially friendly about this song that is such a flex that he can do all three. Someone else mentioned it but the lyrics hit really hard for me having watched the BTS Festa dinner where they talked about pursuing more solo work and why they were doing it some of the stuff he said there seems like it went straight into these lyrics.
