@Th3 twitch police -wow, I can see them being a little stiff. I’ve had a pair for almost 3 years. The right foot is starting to wear because of the kicker. I have been thinking of a higher quality boot, but 500$ IDK

I have no problems with my wide foots in the Atojo. They are also a lot lighter than my old Tech 7 and I have a better peg feeling. Problem with my Atojo are the inside rubber. After 6 months I lost the large one on both sides.

I have the atojo. I won’t go back to anything else. No issue with my wide ass foot. Also going from a tech7 to the atojo I didn’t have a problem with peg feel. Love the boots. I took the sole off, put the SRS enduro sole on and I was good to go. Awesome boots. Caroli and Prado designed a badass boot.

Hi I jusfT has Hi Hi I just had a tip over wearing Daytona Roadstar boots. My foo swelled to twice normal size. I got my foot caught under the bike at the main stand. I had to wait for a passerby to help my mate to lift 224 kg Nc750x off me. I don’t want a repeat. I ride bumpy potholed tarmac and gravel roads mainly. I want crush protection as I’ve had 2 tip overs in 6 months and go stuck twice. These boots are on my shortlist and do have narrow feet but durability and walk ability would be a bonus. Which would you recommend?

I have a pair of Crossfire SRS, made in Italy, this is important to me. I bought them in Las Vegas, I decided I would change up my buying process and do like some snowboarders, buy one half size smaller for a lighter more compact boot. This was a bit of a mistake, as they are okay for the first couple of hours.... then become a blood circulation cut off. I have owned and used 4 pairs of FOX instinct boots, they are good, but the materials are greatly lower quality, they do not breath and you will sweat lots in them... MADE IN CHINA. The fact they are made in CHINA is a burn the resume for me now and no matter if its car, suv, truck parts .... NMC no more China!!!! The SG12 I bought when I was living a year in Barcelona Spain, hand down the best boot I have worn for Motocross, Extreme enduro, Dual Sport motorcycling, and even snowboarding!!! MADE IN ITALY buy people with PRIDE in the work and craftsmanship! My advice SG-12 only no matter the cost, best protection, longest lasting MX/SX/EX boot on the market... Braaaappp! DMV47

How do the atojo's fit compared to the sidi x-power? I purchased the x-powers in size 10 and my toes feel cramped from the width. I normally wear a size 10. My foot isn't super wide, but just wearing them around the house my feet start to get uncomfortable. Is this normal for the break-in period and will they start to pack out? Or Should I try sizing up to an 11 or exchange them for the sg-12's? I like the price, style, and weight of the x-powers. I live in the pnw and only ride trail so I was looking for more of a enduro-style boot. Any help is appreciated.
@rmatvmc2 жыл бұрын
Sidis are just known to be narrow. If the X-Power is narrow feeling for you, I'd probably go with the SG12. If you do get an SG12, I highly recommend putting some better insoles inside them. The ones that come are paper thin and wear out super fast. - Chase

How long would you guys typically expect the soles to last for? The soles on my sidi’s are finished after 18 months. I would say I ride 2 enduro’s a month on average. I’m about to put new soles on my sidi’s but if the soles were not replaceable, then that would become very expensive. Cheers
@rmatvmc4 жыл бұрын
18 months is a good amount of time for a sole to last. It also really depends on the rider. Some riders are harder on soles than others.

How long does it take for Gaerne SG12 to soften? They are very tough when they go shopping. The seller claims they will remain more flexible. They were flexible before using the Sidi Crossfire 1, 2 , 3. I want to try something else. Would you recommend Gaerne SG12?

That is frustrating and a bummer to hear. But I think you might have just had a sour apple. We have riders here who have the ATOJOs and the CF3 with much more than 25 hours and their soles are fine. In fact, I haven't heard of anyone else having that issue. Shouldn't have to worry about that with the SG12 being a stitched on sole. - Chase

I actually prefer Sidi buckle system. Gaerne buckles were coming undone on me after a dismount. Sidi’s just never come undone. Not a single time. Also will never buy a boot with a metallic sole cap. This is a good way to destroy your decals and scratch engine covers to death with no added value for motocross.
