"all sound, no talk" Immediate upvote, bro. I think the best combo to to have the talk _after_ the sound, because sometimes there may be little things about the product that may not be obvious, but important.

Very cool demo, I have the RP. 500 had it when it came out and love it. I like the sleek design of this one and they also brought back the drum machine. Sounds like they are using the same chip with some new cool patches. Keep these videos coming.

hook it up to a laptop with a USB 2.0 cable and download the software for free and you can choose so so so so so many different options and settings, it's a big time pedal when connected for customization and also put in stomp-box mod.

@bobvogjr.36718 жыл бұрын
yup, can. select "direct" to take the amp and cab sims out of the chain. you planning on going front or loop? I'm still figuring out the best way to connect for live rehearsals. this thing sounds really good on headphones and recording direct to a daw.

with the GE-7 chief pedalboard could you improve the distortions when they sound very sharp? ..... help :c
@Dubnot6 жыл бұрын
I watched the whole thing. I like how you had something for each. Very accomplished. Thank you. Is this thing easy to work into a chain?
@rmenga6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, much appreciated. Yes, the RP360 can be put into a chain if set up properly. For an amp, you set Output Mode to AMP and disable all RP360 amp modeling since the amp itself shapes the sound. For a direct connection to mixer/multitrack recorder/computer/etc., it's usually best to set Output Mode to MIXER and have the RP360 as last in the chain, as there will be amp modeling enabled unless you specifically disable it.

Are you able to play two different presets at the same time? Or even just play two amps at the same time?
@rmenga5 жыл бұрын
The RP360 settings is divided into amps, cabs and effects. Each preset can contain 1 amp, 1 cabinet, multiple combined effects and EQ settings. This is how most guitar multi-effect processors work.

Smashing Muffins? sounds nothing like Corgan or a Muff pedal.
@dewdude21125 жыл бұрын
These claims RARELY sound exactly as description implies. I have been using modelers for 30 years...and never use their descriptions I make my own presets. But if you haven't tried the RP360...then how would you know that it CAN'T do Corgan? I say it can....if you are adept enough. Even if you do not use modelers you probably can't cop Corgans tone and FX because you aren't Corgan. If you'd were so great..you'd be ABLE to do it....easily...with the RP360.
@AngelMartinez-qs3cf7 жыл бұрын
Hey man, you are awesome. But I want to ask you have you tried any of the other effects pedals, like the BOSS GT-1, or the Zoom G3xn? If so, which one do you recommend? I am debating to get one of these three? I play alot of classic rock, AC/DC, Sabbath, Zeppelin, Beatles, Stones, 38 Special, Greenday, to name a few. I am looking for as many amp models as I can...thank you. Can anyone help?
@iann87337 жыл бұрын
Angel Martinez I had the boss gt-1, overall a good pedal. However, the COSM modeled distortions sounded just awful to me. The zoom is an alright pedal, if you don't want to record with it. With this pedal, you can plug straight to computer and use it as a recording interface. I would definitely go with the Digitech Rp360xp (this pedal, but with an expression pedal for pitch shifting/volume/wah effects). I owned a Digitech rp360 before the boss and was much more impressed with the Digitech

Hey thank you for responding!! I bought the unit on Thursday, July 27. Great pedal! I can't wait to take advantage of the software!!
@iann87337 жыл бұрын
Angel Martinez The software can be a bit daunting at first (most multi effect unit editing software is) but once you get the hang of it, it's an awesome piece of gear. Can't wait to see what music you make with it!
@AngelMartinez-qs3cf7 жыл бұрын
Hey thank you, I noticed the software doesn't have an acoustic amp simulator, do you know of any sounds of the amps where it sounds kinda like a simulator?

@iann87337 жыл бұрын
Shahriz Kunwar For GNR, I would just go with the very first preset (Plexi drive) since it's emulating a Marshall stack, and that is, I believe, what slash plays on. Maybe set the stompboxes to delay, chorus, reverb and the pedal to a wah wah

I think so, I have a RP350 either into amp or direct, no bass n brittle treble (used with a Ibanez RG 470) same guitar used with the RP360XP either into amp or direct, fat bass n sweet treble.

What amp are you playing through?
@GH3K38 жыл бұрын
Tones are what you'd expect for $150 gear, but the looper and drum features are kind of cool. Too bad it can't run on a 9 volt like the Roland GT001; it would be fun to hook up to my Micro Cube and play in the park or something.
