@@trevoryoshida4961 SO its seems for models 2013 and below you have to take into the dealership, they have a tool that hooks up to the computer chip inside. Very bad design, imo an attempt for dealership to get more people in for repairs and such.

For those wondering 12-13 civics don’t have the tpms calibration option on the imid display so far based on what I know only 14-15 civics came with that feature and I’m talking about 9th gen civics ofcourse

IF YOU DON'T SEE IT IN THE MENU!! ⚠️ check the PSI for your tires on the side of the door once you open it! It says it there! And put the proper air! That's how I fixed mine after weeks!!

I think this is for an indirect TPMS. On my 2013 with direct TPMS sensors it doesn't have the calibrate option on the screen.

You have indirect tp s system. No tpms sensors but speed sensors... Just put proper tire pressure then drive car.

@@carlomango407 the sensors aernt the problem. we would be getting an error code if so. The tpms needs to be reset everytime a tire goes low. even when u fill it up...it wont go away.

You will need to know the TPMS sensor IDs to do this. Normally this is done by a dealer using the HDS (Honda Diagnostic System)” 🙄🙄🙄 Saw can mayb buy a tool to do it-didnt look into that. Bought used 2013 civic recently, so getn dealer to look at it 2mara at n/c but still frustrating😡 & if I find out wats up, I’ll let ya kno!

@@boblauer8810 The reason.. You have indirect tpms system.. That is speed sensors will send a signal to dashboard as you drive if tirr pressure goes down below a certain level.

Could be a bad battery in sensor. If it is you have to take it to a tire shop: about 65 a tire to replace.

Check your spare tire too. Do that first I tried everything and then I saw a video that said check your spare tire before you do all that junk. Sure enough my spare tire only had 10 pounds psi and it’s supposed to have 60. I filled the tire up drove down the street a half a mile and the light went off
