I don't think people realize what Respawn meant by configs being banned... They banned Cfg files basically removing one button multiple inputs or Macros.

welp, steam config is part of the game so people are using options there are given to them. Apex has builded in controller support, so if respawn doesn't want people to use steam config, they could just disable it

yep, and ppl still abuse jitter aim, sheild swap, superglide, etc cfgs through steam. thats why i stress that this should ONLY be used as a remap system

see that's what i find dumb. that was like the main reason they banned tap strafing/cfg because people made jitter aiming and shield swap configs. so, they removed tap strafing. but yet you can literally still do the main reason cfg were banned in the first place. @@rMizery

Just a tip, if u have an Xbox elite u can jump and crouch while looting or just any controller, just set ur jump and crouch to something’s that’s not a b or anything on the dap bad so like if jump and crouch are bumpers u can jump and crouch while looting

for me i highly recommend for insta holstering i have it on my touch pad i play on ps4 and i have it so i can click the top of the touch pad with my left pointer finger so basically click i little to the right from the left trigger and i have my inspect on it to. so, my insta holster and inspect are on the same action so i can click it and it will insta holster then i can spam inspect so i only use one press for both actions which is super useful. I'll make a guide if some people want to see how that works. a lot of people don't know but the touch pad can be used at buttons. you can separate them, and you basically get 4 extra buttons you get touch where u just tap the touch pad and you get a click on the touch pad for both sides. so i have my punch button on the click. i have the touch to reload so i can just tap the touchpad and reload behind doors. i have my insta holster and inspect on it as well and my zoom so i can zoom in. so 5 actions binded to my touch pad which is a super big w. it's the only reason i don't play PlayStation anymore

i highly recommend it. its actual useful stuff basically the touchpad can be used as buttons you can get 4 buttons from it. i have 5 actions on my touch bad alone. and i have insta holster and inspect on the same button so i can holster then inspect and only use one button. that long comment, its more for random people to see. you probably got a good button layout. some other people might not ya know@@rMizery

I personally just use the old tap strafe layout to move and loot by holding in left thumbstick
